SDCC Toucan Exclusive Pop and Pop PEZ

I hope someone from SDCC is reading these posts. I really do love the inside baseball nature of it.

SDCC, or Funko? Either way, it's always the hope when we throw good ideas out in here, that someone in a position of power is reading them! I've seen quite a few ideas talked about in here end up being made. Coincidence? Great minds??

True, I guess it would be Funko. I was thinking that SDCC may have some sway in what their merch ends up being.

They may very well, I am the last person to know how this works! Would be interesting to hear how these work, wouldn't it? Whoever has the brilliant ideas for our next favorite Toucan will have done a great job, and I can't wait to see the 2023 Toucan!

The Tiki is hands down the best! The original Toucan Pop is a close runner up.

OG Toucan will always hold a special place in my heart, especially since he was my first Funko 'booth' win! But I also like when we have a random Toucan like the pirate. Who needs a pirate Toucan? Of course we do!

I am pretty sure it's written in the Funk bylaws that we need Pirates of everything! I am shocked we don't have more of him as superheroes.

If it's not in the bylaws, we need to make sure they are amended to include it! I agree, we need some Toucan in superhero mode, but I also feel like SDCC will go the DC route with that, and I need them to go Marvel! But I'll still buy him and love him, and I'm not against DC - I just don't want to go there and have my collection triple in size!

Agreed. I think if they were going to do blacklight, it should've been last year. Since they missed that one, let's go with GITD this year to make up for it!

What if the chase is glow or viceversa black light. I mean they kind of did bring back convention chases.

I mean, they did do a chase Toucan soda. A chase pop would be cool, but I also know how sad I'll be when I don't pull the chase, since my pop chase luck is abysmal!

I've seen so many things we've talked about in here end up being something I purchase further down the line. I'm sure it's coincidental, and the products had been in the works for quite awhile before we brought it up here. But in the odd event that we helped get some of the cool things made? I would love to see glow toucan this year

I like the idea of a glow or metallic. My only concern is that they just start churning out the same molds but black light, glow, metallic, etc and no longer give us anything new.

My gut tells me that if they did this, it would be the same mold just in glow or metallic.

I gave my pez dispenser to a friend that didn't get into the booth that year. I've always wondered what the candy tasted like...and it looks like I'll keep wondering!
