While I love Cruise in Top Gun. His power to prevent him from being a figure which I already don't understand won't prevent an Iceman then and now two-pack right ?

Give me Bob and Phoenix. And the hangman helmet was pretty sweet.

Maybe generic stuff, like here's an aircraft carrier or the same model jet that they use in the movie. Would you be surprised if he also has to approve any character figure being made?

Tom Cruise is basically the dictionary definition of a movie star, so it's pretty surprising that he has a clause written into his blockbuster movie projects which prevents his likeness being used for action figures, video games, and other peripheral merchandise.

There was the one from the recent Mummy film and There were some that were released before production haulted. I’ve seen 1 or 2 of them trying to sell for $500 OOB or something

Tom's Scientology beliefs would not allow this to happen. The success of the brand warrants a pop line but this happen with his Mummy movie

Wow I just realized that there hasn't been a Tom Cruise Funko yet.

Never thought of that.

I'm sure Funko tried to get Top Gun. Especially with how popular Maverick was.

I had read on previous posts that Tom Cruise doesn't like his likeness on toys/collectibles, but I think they could still do a ride with a generic fighter pilot in it.

So I just saw Top Gun Maverick this past weekend, and I can see why so many people loved it. The nostalgia, the stunts.. it was a wild ride. I don't know how many Tom Cruise Pops there are, but I remember the Mummy Pop of him that got discontinued and was never supposed to release.

Sign me up for TOP GUN Pops - Top Gun: Maverick is a very good popcorn film. If I had to make a quick and easy movie review comparison, the 1st Top Gun was The Terminator and Top Gun: Maverick was T2. Tom Cruise looking young, this guy never ages.
