I order from Target a lot, you do have to pay more attention than most other sites. If anything passes its estimated date you have to approve the new date or they cancel it. So if you miss the random email they maybe send out at 3 in the morning then your order gets canceled. It was particularly bad with all the importing issues last year.

The situation we are talking about is different but that one is common also. I just make sure they are on my safe list to catch those. The Marvel Black Lights they would cancel all the orders and then put them all back up. A bit later do the same thing again. After the 3rd time, I just said I don't need them.

I got burned by both issues in the past. I jumped through Target's hoops on placing and re-placing the orders. And then the delay approval would come in and I'd miss it and get canceled.

I hadn't experienced this form of cancellation but I have heard of others missing their approval "window." It's pretty dang frustrating.

I just don't understand the concept of the proof of interest. I placed the order therefore I want the item. If it arrives and I decide that I don't want it, Target has a fantastic return policy for both in store (which I'm sure 99% of us are near a Target) or online. I understand that returns are a hassle and a cost, but I can't think of any other stores that make you prove you still want your order.

Actually, Amazon was doing that for a while, but they seem to have stopped requiring you to push a button and are just telling you the order is delayed.

I hope Target changes their approach as well as minimizes pre-orders and just sells items when they are in hand.

The Blacklight line is so extremely milked it’s getting kinda annoying… explains why recent ones aren’t holding value that well… we all knew once Carnage skyrocketed that we’d see 101 blacklight pops immediately after…

Yeah, Amazon seems to be doing the opposite of Target. They will tell you it's backordered or has a new date and give you the option to cancel, but default to assuming that you still want it. Every once in a while they do cancel outright though.

Yes I’ve had to buy second had last year a few times cause they were canceling a lot of orders during first drops.

I agree, I would much rather they they assume I want it unless I otherwise cancel, or at worst case, return the item. Also it's frustrating when the "delay" is merely a few days. It's like, c'mon Target, I ordered this months ago, I don't mind waiting another week!

I'm 100% behind this idea . Me and my gf are big Tiki fans and would love to put up a few tiki GITD freddy's or character's if they had them. Disney Tiki room pops would be great.

The would look great next to my Glow Tiki's! These really are a must.

And that's the biggest rub. If you ordered this thing, why would they then take the default position that you don't really want it because they don't want to work out their own logistics? I makes no sense.
