We hope so. A lot of the original 3 are being restoked with the new Stranger Things displays at Target. So if you are missing some from round 1 check your Targets. And then maybe we can get the rest of the gang in black light soon.

Well, other than an original Wally Gator, I remember them making Dorbz and the chase for the pop Blacklight-ish colors. Would be cool to see that translated in SODA form! Wouldn’t mind a couple of more Hucks as well!

The black light treatment to pops/ sodas etc is becoming my favorite, it enhances the look of the characters IMO. Wouldn’t mind some black light ad icons…

Well this thread certainly was updated a lot before Fundays! I’d have to say my favorite Blacklight from the Funkoween reveals would have to be Frankenstein. I hope they do the whole Universal Monsters gang in Blacklight. It just works!

“Grimace” was actually my nickname back in high school. I still have old friends who calm me that.

Long story kind of short, I used to be a big fat kid back in the late 90s and one time in gym class, my friend was super sick, but the teacher didn’t believe him and wouldn’t send him to the nurses office. Turns out he had such a bad fever, he started hallucinating and literally thought I was Grimace from the commercials and started pointing at me and yelling “It’s Grimace! It’s f****** Grimace!!!” in front of several hundred other students in the gymnasium.

So the nickname stuck. At first, it was a little embarrassing being a fat kid associated with a fast food mascot, but I decided to embrace it and own it and that was the start of things in high school getting a lot better for me. Before I knew it, I had a bunch of friends and it helped me feel a lot better about myself back during a time when I really needed that.

I’m not even that big of a McDonald’s customer these days, but I’ll forever owe a huge debt of gratitude to that giant lovable purple blob.
