And some shiny versions that are only slightly different in color from the original/regular version, but still different that the diamond editions wouldn't be considered shiny. Here's an example of the Eevee and Eevee-lutions, from Polygon.com.

That's true the different colors , I guess for whatever reason I keep thinking "shiny" as having that sparkly effect also.

In Pokemon GO at least, they do sparkle when you tap them on the screen to encounter and attempt to catch them so there is that effect, in a way. I would've loved to see Funko produce only the shiny variants as the diamond editions (that would've made the most sense to me). With the Leafeon and Flareon (and there's a number of other Pokemon), the difference in color is barely noticeable at first glance.

Pokemon Go is exactly where my thought is from on the shiny, probably since it's the most recent of pokemon that I've dealt with. Diamond would have been perfect for that, I guess they could also just redo those again and recolor them.

A lot of us wanted this line to be a thing, and now it may become the most expensive line to collect with that amount of variants (recycled or not) they will come out with.

I gave up on the 10" Pops after I got the starters. Dragonite and Raichu is all I need.

Dang, if they started making metallic shiny chases i'd lose my marbles...and my wallet

Massive indeed then, I don't know if it would find a place in my collection, but if it did light up in some degree then it might have a better chance.

I can't believe that Pokemon is still as popular as it is! If I'd known that Pokemon was still a thing, I would have saved all those Pokemon cards my nephew had left at my house when he moved out. Shows how much I know! lol

I was thinking the same thing with it's popularity to at a high. Some of those cards I know for sure I threw away probably are worth a fortune. I think a multi-pack could be awesome and a good way to show their evolutions. :freddy3:
