Less expensive Hikari?

So I was looking on Hot Topic's website, they have a bunch of transformer, skeletor, and TMNT Hikaris listed in the $40-$50 price range. All of us crazy pop collectors have been stockpiling Hot Topic Hot Cash. It hit me that these can be ordered online after 1/15 for $15 off and shipped to store for free. Just a thought. I'm eyeballing that gold skeletor if it is still in stock come 1/15.

I don't know about you guys but I have 7 of those Hot Cash vouchers. Maybe I can place separate orders at $15 off each? Thoughts?

Also, it is weird that when you search hikari only 4 things come up, but when you start clicking through filters from the home page they have 6.

You can get really awesome deals on Ebay. Especially on multiple Skeletors, Transformers, and Turtles for less than $25 with free shipping.

I've seen prices on ebay for a lot of these far less than what they retail for.
The Hot Topic idea doesn't sound like a bad idea either.

I bought mystic powers Skeletor from amazon cheaper than I see on ebay, and no one is selling the gold one on ebay for some reason

Just a a heads up so you know with hot cash they are generic codes. If you have 1 or 100 and are ordering online you can place as many orders as you like with the same code. Also people will post the codes on here so you don't need to have any hot cash vouchers to order online. Now if you go to the store you need a voucher unless you know the manager well and you just tell them the code posted here. Definitely some good deals on the Hikari when the sale starts. Be quick though all of the good stuff will go fast.

Great uses for Hotcash - Pops (obviously), Hikari, mystery minis, t-shirts...assuming Pops are $12.5, two pops is $25 so you need a $5 or more filler. Mystery mini usually fills that nicely. Alternately, 4 minis gets you to the $30 requirement. I usually try and do something like 5 pops to hit the $60 requirement and get $30 off. I haven't seen a sale/hot cash/15% off scenario at my local store, but I know people who do it.

I just noticed that ebay does have a bunch of very low priced Hikari figures- I had a bunch in my cart and then realized I am trying to sell off collections- not start new ones! Arg- the accumulation of attractive plastic is so addicting...!

Life Force Metaluna Mutant is a fantastic example of the line, and can usually be had for around $30 on Amazon or ebay. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Yup, watch Amazon and ebay. Even some of the really pricey ones go for about $20 on the low end. Aeverage seems like $35 - $40.

But we've only seen unpainted scrappers though. And a lot are ship and sold by amazon so they're legit. I'm waiting for the price to go down on those Spider-Men just a bit more before I buy myself.

Funko in general is addictive !! I said I will only get one , now have two! At three is officially a collection lol
