They are still chipping away at dorbz. But only 4 pieces so far. Really hope people are correct about a whole wave of dorbz. Then get ready for the "pop only" people to weigh in on how they wish there were pops of the items.

Not really, the Mean Machine Ridez only has Muttley.

heh, yeah I edited my post after realizing Mutley was alone. I was thinking of the Buzzwagon having both Rufus and Saw and my mind had everybody with their partners in it after that till I looked them all up again.

That Gravel ride is great! I agree with the previous poster would've been cool to squeeze both Gravel and Rock in but that's probably all size constraints.

I might get it and make a little orange with black spots cape for him!

When I saw it on the website, I thought it was Capt. Caveman too at first glance. Then I saw the Wacky Races on the box...either way, I still need this.

Nice addition but once again disappointed at Funko for so few Dorbz choices so far compared to Pop! for NYCC..

To be fair, I love dorbz, would I like to see more at conventions sure I would. However, 4-6 dorbz (counting multiples as one) is exactly what I was expecting. It's a fairly accurate reflection of Funko releases on a whole.

All the announcements for nycc have been fire but best dorbz has to go to gravel slag. Mr toad a close second. Would love to see that race tho.

Apparently a majority of people must feel that way judging by the amount of Ridez announced versus Rides. But between the Night King and Ghost Rider, old souls like myself have obviously not been forgotten.

The Ghost Rider Pop Ride is >>> than the Dorbz version. I'll give you that. Ghost Rider will be my first Pop Ride to go with 20+ Dorbz Ridez.

my only disappointment is that there aren't TWO Wacky Races Ridez for NYCC. There's 6 more after the Boulder Mobile, and that's including the sneak peek that's been around forever.I can't wait 2 more years to complete this collection! GRRR!

I'm not sure that's because of collectors so much as it is because of Brian? I think Ridez are his pet project. Most of the time they are made in pretty limited numbers and even then they'll sit on the shop for quite a while, so I doubt they are big money makers. That said, I'm right there with him. The Ridez are smaller and so much cuter than Rides. Some of the Rides are bordering on too big (WW jet, Ecto-1, the trucks/ vans) but in Ridez form they are so much more compact and like I said before, cuter :-)

I do agree with you on ride-on animals though, and cycles. Pops have arms and legs, so any cycle or ride-on animal is going to work better and be more integrated as a Pop. The Ridez have to have kind of a hole that the rider just plugs into whereas the Pops can have hands on handlebars or holding reigns or hanging on (like Daeny). I think they still did an awesome job on GR and Taun Taun Ridez considering, but I would give the edge there to Pops.

I've said this before but I really wish they would not do Rides and Ridez of the same subject. Just pick one or the other for a particular subject. It seemed like they started doing that, so I was surprised to see the GR Rides announced.

I am thrilled we've gotten as many as we have!! They're getting into the obscure characters that a lot of people don't remember, and they seem to be selling well enough (going by SDCC) so I'd say the chances are good they'll keep making more!

Yeah, X-Men one of the few franchises I get so hopefully it's not BoxLunch or FYE... I lucked out getting Juggernaut on FYE's website but that's only because it went on sale right before I left to go wait at B&N, but I missed Storm at BoxLunch... so unless I hope they don't get them, physical stores are the best option for me. Which means B&N, HT, or GS.

Is it just me though, or does OML look kind of like a Planet of the Apes characters? lol
