I gotta agree with you Jess, the main reason I can't seem to get into it is that it resembles The Book of Life way too much, and I love that movie. It looks cute though, but Book of Life Dorbz would be cuter!

These look fantastic. I saw the pops and was tempted..but now there are dorbz versions there is no contest. Will definitely be getting these. Usually I would wait to see if I liked the movie as I don't know much about it, but I think these just look awesome so will get them whether I like the movie or not.

I fail to see why people are calling this movie a "rip-off" of Book of Life
Yes, they are both Day of the Dead related movies but neither of them own that holiday. That's like saying all Christmas animations are rip-offs of each other. They both are different stories. One is a love story while one is a boy who accidentally enters the land of the dead.

Interested to see how these sell as the Funko Blog says, "Dorbz are available exclusively at Toys “R” Us and Hot Topic! Glow Miguel exclusive to only Toys "R" Us." If they are only available at those two retailers, they should be relatively painless to collect, especially the Glow. Hopefully...

The Miguel glows Orange! He looks like a little pumpkin! So glad I snagged one!

As for Book of Life, I couldn't even watch it. I didn't understand why a movie with such strong hispanic roots had a bunch of white voice actors and raps in it. I think Coco looks legit because its more authentic. Of course, this could all be because I live in Arizona.
