Thinking mine was the HTTYD, loved those minis, especially the dragons.
Hello funatics, I'm Alana and I love collecting dragon pops.

Horror series 1 for me, came across those and I always liked to try when If found them. Can't remember which one was the first I opened, but kept trying for leatherface, michael myers, and captain spaulding.

First ones we opened were the Halloween ones from Reese a couple years ago that released right around NYCC. The ones in the orange mystery plastic balls.

walking dead! after opening some that I found on a shelf in walmart- marked down to $2 each I was hooked on minis. I love Reis' style and I wish they had gotten to do an updated walking dead series...its a CRIME that we never got an official walking dead Negan mini nor Alpha, for that matter.

Re: What was the first mini you opened?
I was not interested in mystery minis until Funko announced they would release a set for Star Wars: New Hope in 2017.
I got my first mystery minis from Hot Topic and it was Tie Fighter Pilot Hot Topic Exclusive.
The details and aesthetics of this set were phenomenal. I loved the figures' cartoony look; they were bobbleheads like the Funko Pops.
I got hooked. Then I started to collect other lines like Marvel: Infinity Wars/Endgame, IT, Stranger Things, Lords of the Ring, and Looney Tunes.
I completed all the Star Wars Mystery Minis sets. Han Solo Pilot Toys R Us exclusive from the Han Solo movie was the hardest to find because Toys R Us went out of business that year.

My first mystery mini was My Little Pony. I still enjoy looking at them to this day. The details are beautiful!
Also, I am pretty sure I bought them from Toys R Us.
