I never thought of magic erasers as a way to clean paint imperfections. I can see using this method on pops as well.
I've tried a rubbing alcohol-water solution in the past and it has also worked. The stronger the alcohol ratio the better the paint flaws will be removed; but at the same time, the more damaging to the figure the solution can be. So always use at your own risk.
I've also tried nail polish remover or acetone to remove paint flaws and other surface imperfections. These though must be handled very carefully as they can easily remove too much paint and ruin you figure, not to mention the fumes are toxic.
It seems the magic eraser idea is a safe way to remove imperfections. I'll give it a try!
Sorry for the late reply but yes this trick also absolutely works on pops. I carry them a lot and accidents happen like scuffs and such but the magic eraser trick has worked pretty much every time. I’d go with that first before trying any other stuff.
