He's never gold but them dwarves are all about Gold, especially him. Isn't he the cheap penny pincher? So it sorta works. I dont' hate it.

That is true they are all about them shinies! I don’t hate it either just not sure why they did it heh. I’m hoping that’s a 1/72 so I don’t have to stress about getting it. Otherwise all of the others I will definitely need to get. They are seriously amazing!
If they do this I bet we get more waves of them down the line... here’s to hoping we get a Smaug mm! (And I could see a gold Smaug too! Haha)

Completed the first set of LOTR Pops, so will definitely need to get those. Really like the minis too, but don't know if I want to go down that path too even if some of them (ahem, Witch King) do look awesome

These are so great! A little sad there are no Boromir, Merry and Pippin to make the Fellowship, but love all the ones they did include. So excited for a Galadriel!! So...I couldn't help but notice that there are only 12 commons pictured. Could that possibly (please, please, please) mean that these are all 1/12?!!!

Look at the side of display box and the caption. 3 missing, 3 exclusives that they forgot to announce? <---Good eye, J.

Unwrap the blind bags to find Frodo, Samwise,
Merry & Pippin, Aragorn, Gollum, Saruman,

That could be dangerous if so! These are very tempting as it is. They are so... precious.

Well now I am happy and bummed all at the same time! Super happy for the three to complete the fellowship, but bummed it's going to be harder to find some since they won't be all 1/12. Mostly still excited though because...LOTR minis!!!

Re: Lord of the Rings Mystery Minis
Worst case scenario is Merry, Pippin and Boromir are Walmart or Walgreens exclusives. I wouldn't mind Gamestop. But hey, if those 3 are exclusives then the dream of a case of 1/12's is still alive

That was my fear, that they'd be in the Disney penguin pose or they'd look like the Stranger Things ones (which are the worst looking minis IMO). I'm pleased with how these look. Very similar to the GoT ones.

I'm going to order a regular case from Big Bad Toy Store and then I think I'll just need to resort to buying the ones I need rather than taking the chance--looking at my multiples of Sorting Hats and Severus Snapes.

This is the first set to make me perk up my ears since Horror 3, but if these have some of the insane half-the-case-is-one-thing ratios some of the recent cases have, I'm not even going to try. It's too depressing to think of having a shelf with a Frodo, an Arwen, and 18 Gimlis, etc. It would be really neat though if the standard set was just 1/12 across the board, even though we all know the odds of that are slim.
