Full Mini Collection, what you got?

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

I may be close on some but I've never gone back to try and complete any. It's just hard to keep up with so many new releases.

I hear you there. There are 2 sets that I am missing one figure. But never sought out the pieces.

I'm easily distracted by new stuff. lol

Yes, it's terrible trying to keep up! It's so much easier when there's only one set I'm hunting at a time. The most I've ever had going at once is 3, and that's right now. 2 are casual hunting, and 1 is for a friend. And there's another one coming out next month that I'll be trying for, so I'll probably go a little nuts at that point!

lol no wampas here, and the only time I fear slimer is if I'm running out of food here! Though I did just score a GS Slimer for the ghostbusters set, so now I'm outnumbered by the Slimers...and I'm one closer to a full Ghostbusters set!

Nice! Haven't even seen a specialty series case around here, so I think this set is doomed to remain uncompleted. Which is not the end of my world. But I did love that particular Slimer! Wouldn't mind the terror dog, either!

I think they need to rethink the specialty series minis in general, the sailor moon ones were equally hard to find.

It's difficult for most. I got lucky because we have a low key shop that sells them.

I wouldn't even know where to go locally to try to find them. My local comic book dealer doesn't do minis. I think the owner would do a case or two if I really pushed, but I'd feel badly buying just a few!

So many of my sets are incomplete- it’s frustrating.
My complete sets are: TWD series 4-5, Fantastic Beasts and The last Harry Potter
Incomplete sets: Stranger Things 1 and 2, Lord of the Rings, Universal Monsters, Both IT sets, ad icons, TEF Series 1-3

Love minis but don’t love that I can’t seem to complete them without paying an arm and a leg

OMG, right??? That was my first experience with how hard Target exclusives can be. Groot was my last find for that set, and the happy car dancing was truly epic after that lucky find!

And even as much work as that was, it still gave me false hope for future sets. Looking at you, Endgame!!!

Yeah, I'm not against that, but I would want to do it before I buy minis from other locations. So nothing that's currently out right now, since I've already been hunting for them! Maybe the next round. In the meantime, who knows...maybe I'll get lucky and wander into a comic store that has an untouched case just waiting for me to visit!

Definitely not the case in my comic book store. We had an interesting discussion about ratios, weights, case layouts and case letters. Owner had NO idea it gets that involved. So if it comes to that, I think I'd almost end up a contractor for him for this stuff. lol

I have purchased cases from exclusive stores and then sought out the placement on others. It's hit or miss how I obtain them.

That feeling when I found the 1/72 Target Groot was amazing.

OMG, right??? That was my first experience with how hard Target exclusives can be. Groot was my last find for that set, and the happy car dancing was truly epic after that lucky find!

And even as much work as that was, it still gave me false hope for future sets. Looking at you, Endgame!!!

I remember when I got Captain America, that was my ultimate grail from the set lol.

Definitely not the case in my comic book store. We had an interesting discussion about ratios, weights, case layouts and case letters. Owner had NO idea it gets that involved. So if it comes to that, I think I'd almost end up a contractor for him for this stuff. lol

Haha, one of the workers at our shop is pretty good about knowing case layouts.

Yep, I've seen one of the employees at the comic book store near me weighing them out before in broad daylight.

Nice to have another expert to run things by! When my guy and I were discussing, he almost seemed to like the idea of opening them all and selling them like that so people would know what they were getting. Which I personally like the idea of, as well! But nothing yet.

That makes it difficult unless you just bought a case as a good faith. That depends on how much they would charge you for it to I guess.

I have purchased cases from exclusive stores and then sought out the placement on others. It's hit or miss how I obtain them.

I think hit or miss describes everything for minis. lol
