Yes, multiple people including me have received the app.
I supplied the codes, downloaded the app (purchased) and the author refunded me the purchase price.

I was supposed to get a code weeks ago, and I've reminded him a couple times. Was wondering if it was just me :/

There is already a free app and to add a pop to your collection you simply click on a check box. It's much easier than messing around with barcodes.
