Anyone else holding out hope for spaceballs pops?! There are soooooo many options there!! What would be your must have spaceballs Pop?!

I absolutely love this movie but I have a feeling these would be pops I'd like to see but probably never buy.

As previously stated... Spacewalks won't be happening (As much as I'd love it to). Before making the film, Mel Brooks, who was a big fan of George Lucas's work, want to get his approval on the spoof film. George Lucas agreed (reportedly loved the concept) but only on the condition that there be no Spaceballs merchandise ( beyond a home video release) as he felt it not fair to profit off characters that were spoofing his own creations. While not confirmed, you can bet that provision wad put in contracts when creating the film. Tje scene in the gift shop witj Yogurt hocking all the Spaceballs swag was Mel Brooks's tongue in cheek way of spoofing that provision in the film.

I'd personally be all in for any Funko Spaceballs figures, but it's be decades since the film wad made and there hadn't been any merchandise at all (least not legit - some bootleg stuff floating around), So I'd venture a guess that there's a 99.9% chance it won't ever happen.

I'd love Spaceballs getting some love in Pop form, but not gonna hold my breath with it being a parody. On a tangent though, I'd love to see other Mel Brooks movies get Pops like Robin Hood Men In Tights, Blazing Saddles, and of course Young Frankenstein. The more Gene Wilder Pops the better I say! lol

More importantly though, I want a Mel Brooks Pop itself. The man is a comedic genius and his movies were a big part of my childhood (yep, even Blazing Saddles. My parents were pretty lax because they love his stuff too)
