I never check my pops for paint flaws, guess I just don't care. As long as the eyes aren't scratched, anything goes.

Bad hairlines sometimes bother me. But not to the point where I would use a repaint service.

If these were $100 figures or statues we were buying then I could see something like this, but for a $10-15 product I don’t think it would logistically make sense.

Been a collector of Star Wars figures from the beginning and plenty of other toys for years and always found some kind of flaw maybe in the paint or a part misplaced in the package, but have never complained too much about these issues. I think we have been hearing it so much more because people are looking for that absolute perfect box or figure inside. I have learned to just enjoy the figure or toy I purchased. All this kind of service will do is open up the grading of Funko products and really destroy the collecting and love of the toys, which it is all about.

I think it’s a good idea but it seems risky. Your piece could damaged in the mail going back and forth in the mail...for a really rare piece I would be too scared to risk it and for a common it would be too expensive to be worth it.

agree, (the flaws don't bother me BTW, so maybe I'm a little bias)

I would just leave the pop alone, why restore it? It would be like a custom.
1st pop Marvel Thor bobble head and Captain America (2011) Walked into booth at SDCC and purchased in less than 5 minutes.

I don't really see a reason to send them in to be restored. If the paint job bothers someone that much they can just touch it up themselves and call it a custom.

They would probably make much more in replacing boxes imo

I think a majority of them can be left to the amateur, the more difficult stuff to a customizer.

I would only send them something if the pop was flocked honestly. I seen multiple people having issue cleaning and having a hassle with it.

I personally wouldn't do it. Some imperfection is part of the charm.
