If everyone thought like this we would be stuck in the dark ages, yes it takes courage to say you have been in the wrong for 29 years and I am no longer going to stand here and take it. Just because something has been done for a long time doesn't make it right. It's not placating, it's doing the right thing. I know people hate when their status quo is challenged and want to be hateful towards those speaking up. It just says more about them than the people are insulting.

I’m honestly wondering why you just can’t empathize with other people and instead choose to mock. Centuries of treating people who aren’t the majority like less than has finally come back around on the majority, and the majority is too thin skinned to examine their own prejudices. Pretty sad, tbh.

and to keep it pop related, i'd love to see this version of Mr. Burns with the robot Dog Smithers

because a character like Apu IS treating them like the majority (which if you look at the statistics on the planet they are already not a minority). the entire city of Springfield is made up of various stereotypes poking fun at everybody from every walk of life, when you pick one group that is off-limits and can't be made fun of you are saying they are too weak and too stupid to take a joke like everybody else in the world used to be able to do.

With the vast amount of characters the Simpson’s has it seems kind of crazy they there are only a few pops. I hope they get more but I’m really hoping that futurama gets another wave

Yeah it seems like he should of been in the original wave. Who knows, maybe they planned on making him and the line didn’t sell well.
