Luchador Pops

Any chance of Funko making Luchador Pops. I know that they already make wrestler pops, but how about making some Mexican Wrestlers into pop. I know Funko has a huge following in Mexico. And I loved that they made an El Chavo pop, but how about showing some love to the Mexican wrestlers. Here are some examples of who to make.

El Santos
Blue Demon
Mil Macaras
Tinieblas & Aluche
Octagon
Atlantis
Rayo de Jalisco
El Perro Aguayo

Just tu name a few. Hope they make these one day. :wwe15:

Wow these are classic! I remember watching these guys when I was younger. It would be amazing to have them as pops. Tinieblas and Rayo were my favorite.

I just loved how the masks that they would wear. Mil Mascaras would come out with different masks all the time. But you can't beat the originals El Santo and Blue Demon.

Absolutely. Funko is huge down here and they have already started with a few pops. Luchador would have a giant market.

They did Conan as luchador and it looks great lol

All of these would be cool. Mil Mascaras with all the different masks that Funko could choose to do and a Perro Aguayo with all the scars on his forehead. And ofcourse El Santo and Blue Demon need to be Metallic.

that was my exact thought, the licensing would be almost impossible to get. i also agree that many would like this series/run.

that was my exact thought, the licensing would be almost impossible to get. i also agree that many would like this series/run.

Ive met most of theses guys in MEXICO and in the US at smaller venues and they all pretty much go anywhere the money is. I'm sure a license would have to be negotiated with every different luchador.

I could see this happening if AAA or CMLL made a play for some Hot Topic reps the way the Young Bucks did. If Four random guys can have New Japan Pops, why not some of Mexico’s biggest stars!

Yes most of the luchadors in Mexico are independent so it would be hard to get a line of these, but hopefully these happen one day.

I'm sure the market for these would be big in Mexico. I myself would be going nuts over these. I grew up watching lucha libre and playing with the luchador plastic toy figures that only had one pose, so these would bring back a lot of memories to me.

Wow didn't realize that, so probably would be a pain to get an entire line. Although on a side not if they ever could get this going they could also do the show Mucha Lucha as another Pop line.
