Just saw the price on Krusty now. So yeah a new mold is needed .

Simpsons is among my all time fave shows! I had to get the original set years ago because I love the series. Its mind-boggling how the prices have risen.

To differentiate from the originals, here are some ideas of variants for wave one characters: Homer with beer, Krusty with cigarette or krusty burger, Marge with purse. Also would like to see a Milhouse and Moe with beer mug.

I like the idea of simple variants to help keep the value of the OGs. As we all know though the original design of the first line will always make them unique. They just look early Funko.

agreed, after putting a lot of hours into The Simpsons on Disney Plus, I'm reminded of the infinite possibilities of characters and really hope this is just the beginning of wave after wave of Simpsons pops we've been denied for so long.

Would be surprised if that ever happened now considering they are owned by Disney now. I am sure there is a contract with all kind of licensing terms in there. I always thought it would be cool to see Bart as Marty McFly or Homer as Doc Brown in honor of them replacing the Back to the Future Ride at Universal Orlando.

My guess is that once whatever agreement/rights that Universal has expires then the ride will be changed as a result of not having a renewed deal.
