80's New Wave Music Pops
Now that Funko has fulfilled my wife's dream pops with the Duran Duran release... how about some Depeche Mode, The Cure, New Order, INXS and Culture Club pops? I hope I'm not the only person from that era of music

Sounds right up my alley!
Speaking of 80's, I would LOVE to see a Hall & Oates 2-pack!

Speaking of Hall & Oates, I saw them a few years back with Tears for Fears! So yes, add TFF to that list!
Unfortunately, we are probably the minority that would want these pops.

Love the ideas, guys, and I'm totally on board w/ 80's artists! Not sure about the rest of you in this thread but Fundays 2018 was extra awesome for me because of the great music throughout the night. So many great ideas listed so far and a countless more that we can add to the list! Until they flat out say "no" to a license, we can keep the dream alive!
Aside from those folks/bands already listed, I'd love to see:
Aerosmith
Eurythmics
The Clash
And a big PLEASE for the Beastie Boys!
hey, I'm Ryan

Branching off this topic a bit, how cool would it be to see A-ha be be given the Funko treatment w/ a likeness of them based off of the video for "Take On Me"? I, for one, would grab it not only cause I love the music and the era, but I think the design of the piece would be great to gaze at!
Pretty simple and straight forward, white all over w/ black accents. Can't go wrong w/ simplicity!

The 80s had such amazing music that it really deserves the VIP treatment from funko. Plus I think most of us collectors are from that era haha

Devo would be super cool. Their hats are iconic as they are also.

Trujitsu Ninja Interest pops Demon Slayer and Naruto. Movie pops Pennywise, Killer Clowns and Warriors.

DEVO would be perfect for pops. Cyndi Lauper would be a really noticeable one. Would love Siouxsie as a pop too. And for totally biased reasons Boingo era Danny Elfman would be a dream pop for me haha

Re: 80's New Wave Music Pops
Definitely, New Wave and Post Punk is where it's at. In the last couple years I've seen
The Cure
Marc Almond (twice)
Nick Cave (thrice)
Bauhaus
Jay Aston (Gene Loves Jezebel) (twice)
Bryan Ferry
The Psychedelic Furs (twice)
The Specials (twice)
The Church
Echo & The Bunnymen
Public Image Ltd*
The The
David Byrne
English Beat
Berlin
Blondie*
Billy Idol*
So it is obvious where my musical loyalties lay.
Bring on the NEW WAVE / POST Punk
(except for Duran Duran, I can not stand Duran Duran)
* Mission Accomplished, Pop Acquired

INXS is my all-time favorite band. I'd so be there for Pops of the entire band.

I do love Michael Hutchence. My list:
The Cure
The Smiths (We need Johnny Marr still!)
Public Image Ltd (We have Johnny Rotten Sex Pistols but..)
Joy Division (Give me Ian then all of them)
New Order (Give me Bernard and Peter at least)
Michael Hutchence
Gavin Friday (Virgin Prunes)
Depeche Mode
Taken from scanning my CDs.
Heck, if they can make Iggy Pop (which I have and love) then they can expend the capital to make some of these that will sell more than Iggy.

I think this idea/concept would look amazing. Very visually appealing and definitely something out of the box & different from the average pop.

Depeche Mode just made it to the rock and roll hall of fame. I second that nomination. Robert Smith from the Cure would be good as well. Some of these rockstars didn't age well...so old school versions for sure
