I know plus exclusives with chases as well. Thats the real caveat.

My friend that knows a guy close to chalice told me that he had trouble moving the vegeta chase bundles. The second vegeta bundle he got was even worse . Good with the bad

Really? They were released in to short of a time span maybe? I mean they really went hard on that DBZ line. I felt bad for DBZ collectors, must of really hurt their wallet.Every con, so many waves and exclusives came out last year.

Well one the common was way cooler than the chase and two the bundle with 5 commons and 1 chase was way too expensive. He was only able to make 8K in sales. don't forget that they have to buy 30K pc for their exclusive. They eventually dropped the price same with the new one.

This is true, after that lines started getting crazy everywhere. I remember HBO's line for COTF at NYCC

I can only imagine how bad the physical line was considering how terrible the online release was.

The value of the previous con exclusives probably drove the hype and people had to get it.

Not surprised, a lot of small retailers hold back some of their exclusive stock for other purposes. Happens quite often.

I understand giveaways, promotional items, but holding back a lot is excessive.

Maybe a row of them , or at least one taking cash as well. That helps move things along.

They still need to record it. Then they run into someone pocketing cash.

Not someone walking around taking cash, but a cash only line in order to process those transactions faster.

Yea its crazy how "retail' has risen for pops. 15-20 + shipping seems the norm now.

I agree and Dekus with MHA we don't need every outfit he has. DBZ has so many cool characters too they could spend more time on.

Yeah I’d be disappointed if they didn’t end up making some for the first movie, but I see them putting a more traditional merch effort in for the sequel.
