I had all of the first batch...I think it was Spidey, Hulk, Iron Man & Cap...at Toy Fair the previous year the prototypes they displayed were made of a kind of hard plastic material and the sculpt and colors were excellent. I ordered a case of each which was like 16 mugs total. When they finally came in they were made of a ceramic material which didn't help the sculpts and the paint jobs were not good...later ones got a little better but they're better as display pieces than functional coffee mugs you use everyday. If they ever went back to the original material etc they would be amazing though

I never used a single one but still have several from various sub-boxes, ebay, etc. I’m surprised people even considered to used them To be fair, I did remove them from their boxes for display...most of them, at least

Interesting...thanks for the info. I guess I rarely use mugs anyways, so if they made a character I like I wouldn't mind using it for display only

I definitely had one that cracked once, I think I put really hot water into it to make tea? Usually coffee from Keurig doesn't have the same affect.

Unless you have really big cookies to dunk, it's a pen or plant holder.

Slightly off topic then...but what would people use the 'toothpick' holders for while at work? I can't imagine many people have a plethora of 'toothpicks' at work. But who knows?

Hi, I'm Alex. I started collecting Funko in 2016, and love Wacky Wobblers, Hikari, Pop!, and Spastik Plastik! I love superheroes, basketball, collecting, drawing, and having fun. I also love attending conventions like E3, LACC, and DesignerCon.
