Funko South Pops ?

After viewing the VIrtual Con Clip of what goes on at Funko South , they have some talented artist there , would be real cool if some of their work would be turned into pop format. The mural they did was mindblowing and love all the different characters on it

I really appreciate Funko for showing everything the behind the scenes. I really love the process that they showed. Although it might take them months to get approvals, seeing the design process makes me appreciate them products even more. I am truly impressed with what they can do!

I love this mural! If I'm not mistaken I believe it was done by cheeezo (on IG) I love his work and I plan to buy some for my personal collection as soon as I have the extra money. But now with covid-19 putting me out of work I'm gonna have to wait alittle longer. But I suggest that everyone go check out cheeezo on IG. His work is amazing and I believe you just have to DM him if you're interested in buying any of his work. He also has a ESTY link in his profile there

And I totally agree that if his artistry was put into Pop form I would have to get them all. They would definitely make some sic Pops!

I wouldn’t mind if Funko actually sold some of the art itself - I’m sure fans would love to have it displayed on their walls at home alongside their collections.

Agreed as well , I just like original characters and something new and fresh like what Fantastik Plastik Pops , Spastik Plastik Pops and Artist winners from Fundays pops and some of the original art done by Funko South inspired by Monsters and Rat Fink look so awesome

I always thought Funko South designed the Plastik’s. Maybe they don’t but they should. I missed the virtual con stuff so I didn’t get to see their segment.

Love the concept behind this.

Actually, if you pay close attention, I noticed that it looks like some of the new lines that Funko has in store for us like Gashouse Gang and Boogey Monsters (They were revealed during NY Toyfair).

But nevertheless, pretty cool artwork they have!

I agree! I really like the exaggeration of all these characters in this print, definitely reminds me of our ratfink pops, so for sure these would translate well into pop form.

Excellent idea. Art work is easy to display and would add a nice touch to everyones display area.

Maybe the could be distributed through Funko Hollywood as Exclusives! I would definitely add them to the collection! :freddy2:

Yeah! I wold like to own art by these artists. They have Funko Hollywood (FH) as an option for a store front or could use FH as space to hold events alongside the Funko South Team. Kinda like the events they have up north at Funko HQ.

Dont you have a store now in Hollywood? I'm not from the west coast but LA is like 2 hours drive from SD. I'd be fine with just 1 store somewhere on the East coast.

Fair enough. Wasnt saying it precluding stores anywhere else. But given funkos san diego locale i was thinking it would be appropriate. Youre right though, they probably opened up hollywood instead of san diego for economic reasons
