Sure, you're not wrong. But releasing something a much fewer number of people seem interested in really won't teach lessons for what will happen with something they know everyone wants. Plus, at this point, whether they intend to or not, they're fabricating demand for Dwight. So many of us have spent weeks worried it's gone forever, or that we might have to pay a flipper. There was already urgency for this one, but now I fear it will be through the roof.

For anyone waiting for Angela, Gamestop just charged me on my pre-order...looks like it will ship on time.

This is what I believe happened. On the first drop the botS were not ready. It was accidentally put on the shop so manual user seen it when looking at Pirya. The second time bots jammed the system from the start. Not many orders got in. I only seen a very small few post they got it. Funko has said they have plenty in stock but were working to combat bots. I believe they will use the rest of the stock as trial for bot stopping. Just my thought.

They said the "had" the stock the day of the release, when they released the statement regarding bots, they said future exclusives and have now gone silent.....I find it hard to believe it's all sold out, BUT, I wouldn't be surprised.

I mean, given the time it was up both times, I find it hard to believe stock is gone. But other pops have slinked away into the night never to be seen again before.

At this point I think their going to wait till sdcc is over or maybe drop it during then just to get it out. But for sure there is stock.

Not super-thrilled that they're releasing an exclusive today, but still "can't" re-launch Dwight yet. It's like this is turning into a game to increase demand for when it finally does go on sale.

I am happy I have it, the ways of how left me feeling a tad mugged. Having to buy it in a $150 mystery bundle that kinda didn’t have much to it.

I can’t blame Funko on that. Popculcha got early supplies somehow, put it up $19.99 for 2 hours, then bundled it. I’m presuming they knew how much it was wanted. Plus. Their moving premise. Need to rid old stock, don’t wanna pay delivery to move their massive line of 10” biggies they over ordered....

My local store seemed pretty confident that she was still very soon. Even last week, they said they assumed it "might be an extra week," but today they were talking about "possibly Monday or Tuesday even." That would put it right in line with the new website date that changed this afternoon too.

Picked up Kelly and Meredith the other day. The pixelation on Meredith is such a clever idea, and so in character! As we get closer to completing the full main crew, it just makes the omissions all the more glaring. Bring on Creed, Phyllis, Oscar, Ryan, and Erin!

Bummed to hear about Angela being delayed, but since my wallet is in such dire, uncertain straits these days, it might be for the best.

Their standards used to be a lot better. But what you’ve described above is where they seem to be heading at full speed, like a bunch of teens took over the shop.

In the ultimate example of poor planning, today, Funko has confirmed that Dwight with Princess Unicorn will re-launch with the SDCC exclusives next week.

Because you know. It makes total sense to release the single figure which had so much demand that it crashed your server. On the one week with the highest amount of simultaneous purchase attempts happening in a given calendar year.

What is wrong with these people?

My set of the 5 new ones came in yesterday. Torn on how to display my office set. Currently they are in number order but I’m debating grouping by character. How do you all display yours?

Same issue. There’s so many. I had them all stacked on top of each other. Pyramid style. On a bookcase at the top.

I had to get a dwight our that I was passing on to a friend from the very bottom. And of course, about half the stack fell about 2 metres on top of a coffee table and the floor. Soo lucky for pop protectors, but I presume there’s some damage. Too annoyed to check.

Dwight has made life hard lately. Stressful character that one.

I’ve been thinking about using a sticker maker roll, just stuff you can make your own stickers with. The old man used to work in an art supply store. So I have a massive roll.
Was thinking of sticking it to the complete back of a pop protector, then to wall, or cork board.
Just hope it’s strong enough, it’s old. So it has some old school stick to it, probably some chems made it that are illegal these days.

Military style sticker making paper I guess you could call it. Lol. It’ll definitely hold most Pops, dunno about a couple of the heavy ones, cyclops comes to mind. And wouldn’t try it with a deluxe, 6” or 10”.

That’s terrible, I still don’t understand why retailers cancel preorders like that, it’s ridiculous. I wish I had an extra to help you out but unfortunately I only ordered one. Hopefully there is a restock at some point soon.

I'm going to be unboxing them all and group by character in shadow boxes with LED, and stack from there. I just moved so working on it presently, will post pics when I'm done.

Update: my ‘Angela’ was delivered but they sent me Victor from Corpse Bride instead. The GameStop rep said they would send a replacement but I am very dubious at this point.

Just picked my Angela up. Now just need my Sith Lord preorder to ship and the two dwights from funko ship this week and I’ll be back to 100%.
