Paka Paka - Fruit Bats

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

The dragons suck you in. I wasn't even really into Paka paka, and got a Munchies dragon and jumped straight into the rabbit hole!

I just got my first dragon from Boo Hollow and the Fruit Bats one is calling my name!!!

I swear each Paka Paka set is a must. Just absolutely nailing it! Fruit Bats may be a little under the radar next to Boo Hollow, but they're so adorable!

None in Hollywood on Friday, that I saw. And I looked! Very disappointing, really wanted to come home with a few of these. Had to console myself with a new shirt instead!

So you had to console yourself with Funko-wear instead of Fruit Bats, too? lol

I got the long sleeved japanese shirt, in the hopes that someday it'll cool off enough here to wear it! \:D/

What's the rarity of the Dragon one? The sheet just says it's a bonus figure? What does that mean?

Fruit bats have been found at Funko Hollywood! A friend very kindly picked 2 up for me, from different areas - and both are 1/9 Lima. She's super cute though, so this is not a hardship! Now I'll just have to make my own trip up there for more!

My friend [quote="greymom"] bought me 2 from different bins last week - and somehow snagged me the same 2! lol

Went up today and treated myself to 4 - managed to get both versions of the Avocado bat (Ava), and both versions of the dragonfruit bats (Drago). Not too bad for random pulls! Decided I'll take my chances on this set, rather than order a case straight up. Hopefully it's a good decision, we'll see!

Not a bad pull, I’m trying to get the whole set so I preordered a case I’m waiting on. I also bought 8 from the Funkoshop to get free shipping on a pop and because I’m impatiently awaiting my preorder lol

Do you get them from the machines there? I saw that they had them at that store.

They haven't had the machines stocked since the pandemic hit. Instead, they spread them out in bins - usually around the machines, or over in the checkout section. I do miss the machines - something else to look forward to when they world goes back to normal!

Unfortunately that Think Geek closed down recently, I’m glad I got to play with the machine before so!

I like it most of the time, and it's so much fun when I get shipping notifications! Alas, no preorders for this series. But I may be heading up to Funko Hollywood on Saturday, and if I do - it's on, fruit bats!

I just gave in and ordered a 10-pack via Funko.com. Was going to head up to Hollywood tomorrow and do this, since I wanted that Freddy holiday pop, but online seems a safer option at the moment! Knowing my luck, it'll be at least 5 of the lime bats, since I already have 3! I'll keep you guys informed and entertained when my order arrives!

Not a bad pull, I’m trying to get the whole set so I preordered a case I’m waiting on. I also bought 8 from the Funkoshop to get free shipping on a pop and because I’m impatiently awaiting my preorder lol

Preorders are a special kind of torture, aren't they? On the one hand, you know you're good and you'll get what you want eventually - but in the meantime, the wait is just interminable! Good luck with your pulls, let us know what you get!

I actual love the idea of pre-order. Its like order and forget it. Then when it does show up its like Christmas. It is awesome.

I totally relate, because I forget I ordered stuff all the time

I'm usually on top of it, but lately I'm ordering so much online that I've forgotten a few things. Of course, when I'm anxiously waiting for something (ahem....funko shop....fruit bats....!), those I CAN'T forget!
