They’re playing so much haha. I believed they used Kiki as a code name for a previous pop as well
That’s so cool the one time I don’t buy a pop online

Aww don’t get me started on final fantasy. I been waiting for cloud to become a thing for years. I need action pose and the sword sheathed. I think that they never did cloud due to the fact that the rights are extremely difficult to get. I’ve noticed there isn’t much out there as far as merch with big companies for FF

So who thinks it would be a good idea to a have Studio Ghibli line of POP! and if so which Studio Ghibli Film do you think they should start with? Any specific characters that you guys would want first?
OMG! Yes! My favorite movies are Princess Mononoke and Ponyo. It would be nice if Funko made pops of those movies.

I would love to really see a line of Studio movies, or a movie moment would be a great thing to as well! One from my neighbor tororo or spirited away, ponyo etc. I think that would possibly be one of the best line from funko

If they did movie moments for this line , they would probably be some of the most beautiful designed funko movie moments in existence.

If there was ever a moment where funko considered doing a con variant out of a movie moment. It should definitely be Ghibli - these films have iconic moments galore especially the bath house

If so, I'm sure at least you and I would be hoping it would be at SDCC, so the chances of us adding it to our collection would be higher.

With the recent influx of 10inch I really do think/hope we get Totoro in that size as well!

There’s no anime that is as emotionally impactful to me as the Ghibli films so I would love to see these translated into funko figures. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see these in the near future

There are so many movie moments they could do! Basically anything from Howl's is a must for me, but man, would be really difficult not to literally buy anything that was Ghibli.

Your telling me! I would literally buy any thing that had funko and Ghiblis name on it. Mystery minis, funko, dorbz you name it. I don’t care how big the set was.

I am honestly surprised we haven’t gotten Ghibli Pops. Japanese anime companies aren’t shy about merchandising so they must be asking for too much.
Please Funko make Taylor Swift Pops!

Exactly and I think the designs of the Ghibli films would translate really well into funko pops. I definitely would cop the whole collection and like I stated before I think they could produce some of the very best movie moments with this license

Yeah, they will definitely translate well into pop form. Plus there are so many possibilities from each movie to do with the addition to movie moments as you said.

Can you imagine what some of the variants would look like if they chose to explore them? You know like a Glow In The Dark Princess Mononoke or even if they did the Forest Spirit Glow in The Dark from Princess Mononoke (I would take a 10 inch or even a 18 inch of this right here). I'd buy this in a heart beat. I wonder with the release of so many 18 inches recently will they have a Comic Con Exclusive 19 inch or 10 inch.
