Yeah but I like the way they did this. One team wins. Made the games much more enjoyable at the end because you didn't know who was going to win.

Those 3 rings that popped off the cone for the bandits team are going to be things nightmares are made of for a long time ... lol.

I was expecting something similar to this, could have been a production issue. Or maybe they really wanted the winning team to have something special.

We were talking with Mike on Thursday (the night before). He mentioned to us that they really did want the winning team to reap the rewards.

That trading time after fundays is interesting to see for the first time.

Unfortunately there wasn’t much trading this year compared to previous years. Having all BOF’s come with the same Freddy’s resulted in less trades.

That played a role in it, but to me the lack of trading may have been attributed to a lot of people lining up for autographs after the show. The autograph idea was cool no doubt but to me it pulled ppl away from the “trading floor”.

This is exactly what I was hoping for. Or give the winning team the medal and BL Soda's for the entire room. I only complain at all because I was not on the winning team. lol

I wouldn't think the autographs would take that much away from the trading. Even in past years where the hotel had people leave the area outside of the ballroom, everybody would gather downstairs around the lobby for trading.

I am for it, but that is interesting. I hope there is some randomness to it. I can only imagine if someone figures out the pattern based on something, the line up madness that would ensue from that to make sure you are in the first 400ish people.

I can see the benefit to the autograph area as that is a big piece for some people. I was hoping for more trading overall though. That was some of my my favorite memories of past Fundays.

Nope definitely down. However, they did kick us out of the ballroom rather quick this year and then out of the lobby from there just as quick as well. At that point I think most people called it and went their separate ways.

They have done this in the past, although this year seemed quicker than before. I understand from a workers point of view they just want to clean up and go home. From our perspective we want to hang out and trade.

True, once you were kicked out of the area with the people it is hard to keep trading.

I’m all for it, change can be a good thing lol I think it’ll make next years Fundays even more lively to say the least.

Yep ... it was a fantastic idea! Everyone (especially us in Bandits and those in Robos) were on the edge of our seats. Loved it!

I thought Robos won it in regulation then as he announced it was tied every Packers NFC championship loss flashed before my eyes as I readied myself for heartbreak. Clutch performance on stage! I would have been shaking.

That is probably true. I didn't get over to the autographs, but did notice trading was down quite a bit. Well it's been three years so I could be wrong.

My absolute most favorite part of fundays has always been the trading that takes place afterwards. Hopeful it will be better next year.

I mean everyone could always trade in the lobby of hotel. I do think the fact this was first fundays and con back for a lot of people since the start of COVID. I know I found myself exhausted just after Wednesday and Thursday. I was definitely not in con shape.

This is not far off. I kept telling my friends “im tired” as a reason for not sticking around for long after the show lol

The Fundays Freddy is beyond awesome. Super jealous and happy for everyone that was able to get one.

You were close LJ very close lol

Haha, literally. Blacklight Bandits fell to 2nd place. So close! :drunken:

Good try. I was part of the Bandits. So close. Robos made out like the bandits with the blacklight Optimus and Soda.

It should clearly be in the rules that if you were in the blacklight Optimus quadrant the blacklight Freddy soda MUST go to one of the other three. And honestly probably the clowns and their Fresh Freddy lol.

I will gladly take any donations of the Freddy soda. That Freddy fresh felt like a low blow after all the other prizes and then the soda.
