Tim, love that Freddy. One of my favorites. I have a soft spot (around the mid-section) for McD's.
Well, I don't have anything else that's McD's related, so how about the Freddy that's right next to my McFreddy.
B&W Freddy. Love that classic styling. He's an LE48 that was given out at the Vegas Fundays (Fundays 2) in 2003 to the people who participated in the Custom Freddy Contest. I believe the intent was for the winner or top 3 to get a B&W Freddy, but Mike Becker being the great guy that he is, gave one to everyone who participated. "The top 3 places were also awarded other prizes besides the B&W Freddy."

Loving the Wednesday Freddy wobblers boys, so this week, I figured I post a pretty fangtastic Freddy wacky wobbler with a slew of his vampy brethren
One is definitely not like the others, but still a vampire nonetheless

Re: Wobbler Wednesday Thread!- FREESTYLE
Hey all there have been some great shares!! Happy Wobbler Wednesday for this week I have a special share! The Smart Alex Prototype is the one not on the Funko shaker display and on top of the boxes. The “Naked” Alex pictured is the one on the base! The “Naked” Alex which has a spring, looks very similar to a proto and is limited to 12. Also in the picture is the the three more common ones. However what makes them special is they are all signed by Jay who is a friend of mine and was so kind to send me them! He is know as “Jarkbark” on the boards who owned a Chicago-based greeting card company called Smart Alex. Smart Alex is his Wobbler mascot. I hope everyone had a great day, the weekend is almost here! Don’t forget to smile my friends!

Such an awesome story, thanks for sharing the story and the picture.
When I first started going to Fundays they were still doing the Custom Freddy contest and there were so many great customs, I’m sad to realize they don’t do that anymore.

Imagine that, missed Wednesday again. Being retired means not knowing what day it is. Kinda love it.
Tim, I really like that version of the Big Boy. I always meant to get a numbered-box version, but didn't.
Anyway, I know these aren't Wobblers, but wanted to stick with Tim's Big Boy theme and these are classic Funko Big Boys. Newer collectors may never have seen these before and I love 'em. Unfortunately, I know very little about these other than they were made in 1999 and came in clear plastic bags. They're 8-inch tall coin banks. I'm not sure which one is actually the variant. I read somewhere that one person thought the blue shoe version was the original. Where' s Kevin when you need him (RIP). Though, Kevin did once post that "the blue-shoed bank is harder to come by." Anyone else have any other info? I wonder if Mike B would remember. Anyway, enjoy!
[NOTE: on ppg web site, they show a picture of a Big Boy bank in a box almost identical to these, but that's not a Funko product, that's the bank sold at Bob's Big Boy and on their web site. I've seen these boxes with copyright dates of 2013 and 2015 and no "Funko" anywhere on the box. Plus, if you look at the cheese, it's on the top burger with Funko and the bottom with the boxed version. Just confirmed for sure; saw a YouTube video that showed the bottom of the bank--no FUNKO. The mold is pretty darn a match, so Bob's must have liked what Funko originally did.]

Ananstasis, great start to your Wobbler collection. I love the pink Diablo and I rarely see the glow Stewie. Are you going to stick with all glow pieces? They are pretty awesome.
you can always check out my collection if you want to get some ideas. It's a bit of a wordy post, but lots of pictures. viewtopic.php?f=10&t=97328

Well, going to get a little nostalgic today. I was going through my PMs and deleting some old messages when I came across a conversation with Kevin (kevinbuddha). Of course it made me think of him and his passing. Kevin and I weren't friends. I'd never met him. We didn't interact much on the board in my earlier days, though he would always send "congrats" on my posts in the Wobbler Dance Hall. He was true Funko "old guard", so I'd reach out to him every now and again to ask questions about older pieces--he was a fountain of knowledge.
I didn't know a lot about him. It seemed he didn't have an easy life, but he did LOVE his Funko. After I returned to the board from a long hiatus, we interacted a bit more. He was a steady visitor to this Wobbler Wednesday Thread and was always promoting Wobblers. He had some amazing rarities in his collection and quite a number of prototypes, some of which never went to market. So, I was surprised to learn that he didn't have a Scotty Cameron Scottie Dog prototype--at least, not a whole one--he had a body without a head. At the time, I had two Scotty Dogs, so I sent him the Bandito Bull Dog.
Aug 25, 2019: "I received the awesome Scotty today!!! I am just floored that I have that spectacular piece to ad to my Funko universe!! I cannot thank you enough for your kindness in gifting me such a wonderful piece of Funko history! I still cannot believe that Titleist passed on these awesome Wacky Wobblers. I have only ever seen the pictures, now I have one I can touch and admire in person. I love it!!!"
I didn't share Kevin's PM to me to garner accolades (so please don't). I share it to demonstrate how small acts can make a difference in the lives of others. Given his time left was short, it gives me immense joy to have brightened a day or two for him; someone I didn't really know and would never meet. Think of the possibilities right around us. Wishing all a "springy" day.

Re: Wobbler Wednesday Thread!- FREESTYLE
Scotty, that is an amazing story, Kevin was awesome and definitely an old school Funko guard. The amount of history and knowledge he knew was insane. I’m so happy that I was able to talk to him about some of the pieces that I now have. He also helped me learn so much, when I was new into collecting. That is so kind of you to send him a piece that he did not have and just by the response you could tell it meant so much to him. Kind things can have such an impact on people big or small and it’s so special. Thanks for sharing Scotty!

No problem. Let me help you. Make a imgur account and upload your pics to that account. Get on a PC, log into your imgur account and right click the picture you want for shared links. Find the one that says BBCode link and copy it. Go to the thread on Funatic board and make a post and paste the link you copied from imgur and PRESTO. Hope this helps and good luck.

Re: Wobbler Wednesday Thread!- FREESTYLE
Happy Wacky wobbler Wednesday again. Scotty I know exactly what you mean about Kevin. I have also never met him but have countless memories from interacting previously on the Funatic board. I have caught myself numerous times thinking of our posts and any time I do some research I always come across his name and it hits me again. Myself, Kevin and my wife used to always race to post on wobbler Wednesday and it became a weekly routine to respond to each other. Boy do I miss those days. Definitely makes you think about all the friends we all have made on here. Some we just message and others we have had the privilege to meet. Hopefully one day we all can hangout together and share our love for Funko. Moving forward to this week's post I had to go with my favorite character Bone Daddy. I needed to share an old pic of them in GITD version for Anastasis. Enjoy and as always wobble on my friends!
