So has anyone else seen one of these?

Postby missbantz » Sun Nov 10, 2013 1:28 am

Walked into a local B&N and they had this permanent Funko Pop display. Each side had themes: Disney, Heroes, TV, Star Wars. Pretty cool IMO:

I think each store has different displays. I know one of the B&N's in my area has a white, cardboard, comic book dotted background to display pops.
Justin here! I love anything Walking Dead! Protos are pretty cool too.

Yeah, same with my other B&N closer to my house. I've never seen one like this. It was hard plastic and meant to be permanent (unlike the cardboard ones that come and go). The shelves were also shallow in depth, designed to only hold two rows of pops, making it easier to dig through the display.

I have seen the same B&N white cardboard funko display that j-phung has mentioned.

That is sweet! I wonder if all the stores will be getting those displays.

That's really cool. And your B&N looks like twice the size of mine! My store has a white cardboard display. I asked an employee whether or not they throw them away at some point and they told me yes. So, I asked if I could have it when they are ready to throw it away and he said yep and took my name and number.

I've seen one of those. In fact, that looks EXACTLY like the one in the B&N in Lloyd Mall in Portland, OR. Right down to the fact that it's partway in the little in-store cafe.

Mine had one. I'm guessing when a B&N decides to sell POP! full time the store gets sent a display.
Likes: Any POP! that makes me go "Sweet!" Pop Count: Many on display and I forget how many in storage.

B&N near me just have them scattered throughout the entire store. Takes forever to track all of them down. This is a lot simpler.

That's how the ones around here are. In about 4 or 5 different places around the store. It's like a hunt within a hunt. Inception Pop Hunt!

Oh, really? ;)
To my knowledge it didn't rotate, but the bottom was on rolling casters.

So much simplier than running around the store looking for what you need. I approve... Clap clap clap. And I also want one of those pop signs!

Yes, I hate how they group by different categories (like keep on the Star Wars stuff together) and you have to check the entire store hoping not to miss any of them.

Oh man, I want that sign!

My B&N has their Pops in two different locations. Ones a white cardboard display with Walking Dead, Big Bang, and Game of Thrones Pops. The other is just a plain old display with everything else.

This is the way the 2 near me are. The "everything else" section has a "Toys & Trends" sign. I'd love to see that big "Pop!" sign.

I'm hopefully on a list to get a POP! cardboard display at the end of the year when my B&N closes. Going back Friday to double check.
