ReAction Wish Lists

Let's talk about Funko and Super 7's great line of ReAction and Legacy action figures. They don't bobble or pop, but they thrill in their own fun way.

ReAction Wish Lists

Postby Jeff Cope » Thu Nov 28, 2013 1:41 am

So, I thought...why should the 6" fans have all the fun?

I know a bunch of licenses for ReAction have been announced already, but what else are you hoping for with Funko's upcoming 3/3/4" lines?

Beyond what's already been announced, I'm hoping for Planet of the Apes, Space 1999 and Lost in Space. For starters.

Next?

The Dark Crystal is one of those "lost lines" - there was a 3.75" line planned in the 1980s that never happened. I'd still love to get that Garthim, though.

Dark Crystal was listed on the initial list of licenses...don't know if they'll repro the planned 80s line, or design up all new figures. I'm sorta hoping for the latter. But, yeah, Dark Crystal is high on my list as well.

I'm kinda hoping they go back to the drawing board on these a bit myself. I want to see all the Mystics, Skeksis, Augra, Pod People, Garthim, etc. I also hope Jen and Kira are a slight bit more screen accurate. I love this movie and really hope Funko does it justice. It's a line I wouldn't mind seeing carried over into the Legacy Line as well.

I wish that The Fifth Element, The Matrix, The Road Warrior and Big Trouble in Little China all ended up being realized in this line! I could go for these in Legacy also.

One line that I would love to see in both Legacy and ReAction, but for which I think Legacy would be easier and more likely, is Doom. I'd love a Doomguy, an Imp, maybe a Cacodemon...

Oh, and E.T. seems like a no-brainer, too. Kind of shocking it didn't get a 3.75" line in the 1980s.

1980 Flash Gordon. There totally should've been figures back in the day. The BBP figures were cool, but not 3-3/4". Now's the time!

Captain Action would make a fantastic ReAction figure. It's another retro IP that'd be awesome as a 3-3/4" figure.

Mattel put out a Flash Gordon line to coincide with the 1979 animated series. I think there were around 7 or 8 figures produced in the 3 3/4" size as well as a couple of ships. Mego did the 8" Flash figures and playset a year or so before Mattel's line. While there were very few non-paper collectibles created for the 1980 Flash, I suspect the market already having these figures available might be a reason that Sam Jones wasn't molded in plastic. It would be terrific if that was rectified 34 years later.

I like how you think.

Labyrinth
Captain Planet
Rambo
Rocky
Land of the Lost

just to name a few lol.

Whatever they make, im sure it will be cool. Im so excited!

I wonder if the modern horror Reaction Figures will include characters from any of The Silence of the Lambs movies? Also, I hope for a line of figures from Bram Stoker's Dracula, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, The Brendan Frasier Mummy Movies and Hugh Jackman's Van Helsing.

Goonies is a very cool suggestion for these. I'd probably buy at least 2/3 of everything that has been said so far. I think Ferris Bueller figures would be awesome.

Thank you! And awesome! I knew they had the Pop figures, I just saw them at my comic shop a week or so ago, but I didn't realize we were getting them in ReAction form. I have the Mezco Chunk figure, but with ReAction I'd get them all. I wonder if we will get a Brand. He never seems to be included with this stuff. I wonder if that's something Brolin has against being made into a figure.
