But ultimately, I decided that having an item signed in front of me, personalized with my own name right there on the box was the most satisfying. Its definitely harder to get, but there are a few cons where you can get up close and request signatures, so I just keep an eye our for who will be visiting, and bring my own pop to be signed. :bounce:

I am curious how others on the board feel about autographs in general, and about personalization especially.

Also, if others know of good places to find signings, please share. I live in Atlanta, so Dragon Con is a great source for me each year!

I only get cigs if I meet the celebrity myself!
Just gotta love the old funko rock pops, what can I say? I'm a pretty silly dude :clown:

I guess some are tired of doing quotes lol I seen some VA's who charge for every 6 words. 18 word quote? 60$

I’d be tired of of it too. Y’all are getting whole paragraphs on the windows sometimes. lol

A few years ago I was at ECCC in line for David Tennant and the person in front of me asked him for a quote that looked like 40 words or more. He even said that was the longest quote he ever had to write (it was on a 8x10). So in cases like this I can see wanting to charge more for a quote. However last year Andy Serkis was asking 60$ for a quote regardless of length.

'My Preciousssssss' isn't very long though HA!

I generally don't have them autographed. But I make exceptions for characters I love. So I have a precious few signed. Plus had to get Mike to sign a Freddy I had at SDCC 2022 because I lucked out running into him outside the Funko panel that Sunday.

It was an opportunity that was a bit out of the way, but how could I say no? I don't watched dubbed anime, so while I appreciate the english voice actors bringing series to life for a larger audience, they aren't these characters for me. :happy3: :happy3: :happy3:
