I would actually say the opposite - while the cards featured great art, the redemption experience wasn't the best, and the pops weren't entirely "exclusive." Furthermore, packs didn't seem to move quickly enough in stores.

If they did it in the future (assuming they shore up the issues you mentioned) it would be great if there were multiple redemption so you had more incentive to keep hunting for them!

Really like this thread.
Lots of good ideas!

The biggest thing I'd like to see is quality over quantity in terms of releases.
There are so many unmade ideas and molds that folks are still hoping for and I'd appreciate more of that then another wave of shelf warmers.

Generally, I am hoping Funko maintains its identity of being wacky, fun-loving, and weird (especially now that Mike Becker is no longer a part of the team).

There are so many great ideas in this chain.

I’d love to see more retro Freddies and Fantastik plastic.

NBA and NCAA mascot lines have lots of room for growth.

I’m enjoying the new and increasing social media engagement, but would like to see more contests of different kinds. Prizes could include SMF, but also rewards points, gift cards, rewards in video games (I still play pop blitz but may be the only one), backstage tour of HQ, etc.

Yeah which stinks, because with all the broken swords Freddy's, will they just get a brand new sword piece or whole new one? I didnt look to see if sword can be removed or not... Guess we will never know how many a truly out there for this drop

I feel like they have slowed down a lot. These past few releases have been good. Let’s just hope the prices don’t keep going up!

The price hike is quite concerning. I am really curious how many people here actually buy more than a few commons a month? I don’t think I have picked up a common since November, and that was during Black Friday deals.

This is what the heart of this brand should be. Maintain it's identity. We can only hope it goes back to what it was. With Becker gone it's definitely a turning point. I just hope we don't lose the heart of it

Agreed. NYCC last year was not a good look. The booth was so corporate and transactional. There really wasn’t much fun or fan interaction at all. I hope they change that and go back to their old ways please!

The problem with them doing limited or numbered Pop!s that aren't for conventions is it becomes a reseller paradise. I'd like to see them step back from variations that are barely any different and focus on smaller numbers of higher quality molds.

I would like to see more Franny pops, gitd, and pops with some kind of accessory changes (i.e.: extra shirt, hair, hat, shoes, color changing eyes, etc.) Can you tell I grew up playing with dolls? lol

It's for sure a bit over saturated but hopefully some pieces will stand out!

Imo I'm not as excited as I have been in years prior but the funko season as I call in "summer” hasn't started yet so I could be surprised.

I hope there is surprises in store for us but we shall see

They said you have to send everything back for the mech Freddy

That makes sense

Ah interesting I didn’t know that. Well that’s good news

It’s a bit annoying though because only my insert was broken the box was ok and the pop was fine. I didn’t want to risk getting a bad box or broken figure the second time so I just have to live with the broken insert
