With so many rumors of a sequel since the movie was released, then it made a billion dollars from a $80 million budget and won Oscars... There's no way WB doesn't cash in again

Yeah I’d be disappointed if they didn’t end up making some for the first movie, but I see them putting a more traditional merch effort in for the sequel.
I can't think of any toys following the release of the movie, probably due to the r rating.

With this movie being so controversial I can see a longer wait for this line to come out. As much as I'd love one for my DC collection it's not that big a deal to me as there's plenty of other DC Pops I want made.

Me neither, The Joker can definitely be the first to do this.

Yeah there were a lot of extenuating circumstances why this movie got a lot of bad press before it even released and it's understandable.

Is the movie that controversial? I understand some of the criticisms on incel culture and mental illness, but i thought, judging by its success it wasn’t much of an issue.

I think the incel part was the majority of the controversy but that first week, there were a lot of extra security in case something happened.

Oooh i thought the extra security had to do with someone trying to replicate the aurora guy who said he was inspired by Joker.

It was a mixture of things. And also the world being soft and thinking movies need to be about unicorns and rainbows. So when something comes out that is dark and about real life problems, they should be boycotted.

Unfortunate truth. I suppose all the other methods of security prevention are a bit too pricey

It could be a business strat. When you have a majority of supply, you can drive demand or at least hedge your bet.
Your right. But I know the demand was there the last two years. Too much demand.

I have not seen the series. I just liked how the Knight King looked and just wanted him. I can guess now what each character's role in the series is, by all the comments I read.

Don’t think so, but it’s not just always where they are made but a lot of the raw materials could still come from China and effect the supply line.

China too busy making viruses to distract the world than to allow the Joker to play there. Not many pops are made in China no more right?
Don’t think so, but it’s not just always where they are made but a lot of the raw materials could still come from China and effect the supply line.
Yeah the supply lines are everything. Lots of random people and industries affected.
Yea it’s pretty crazy and makes you realize how much actually comes from over there.

Very soft and scared. China didn't want to give their citizens any ideas so the didnt allow this movie to be aired there. Joker made 1 billion, imagine if it was able to open over there....
Which shows how impressive Joker was to hit that 1 bil without China. Not sure how many others can say that.

The value of the previous con exclusives probably drove the hype and people had to get it.
Yea that's true Golden Frieza and Ochaco were already pretty high so more people were hunting for Whis.
That was my thought because I never seen funimation getting that busy prior to the metallic whis. Not only that, there were so many metallic whis listed on eBay while the con was still going on
