I did see distrackers post that someone was bragging about one of his dummy accounts got a Cyclops and that there were only 150 of the 500 claimed. Does that mean there going to try again because 350 of the cyclops were pulled back from people who had an infraction (same credit card across multiple accounts, same address). I guess we will see what Funko announces.

Yeah I was confused if people could enter the same household. I can see one winner per household. But some people are fans from the same home. I thought it meant if mutliple won, only one could check out on that home. Who knows at this point?

That's a good point. If two people in the house collect, the system will kick one back and someone loses out? That isn't right. Maybe they match the name to the address and see how long the person had a fan rewards account? Maybe that's how they can determine it's two people and not just one.

200 points doesn’t matter when single entries are winning too right? At this point it’s hard to know anything at all. I’m just thankful Funko heard the fans and will come back to SDCC. So at this point I’m just glad they are listening. Also, for ECCC. Having them finally back in some form is awesome.

Good luck to everyone on this art the clown drop! I hope they continue to tweak this new setup and eventually make it like a 1 yr account age or something to cut the account farming usage. And maybe also require aged purchases to help with determining legit accounts but I know they won’t dont in they end they just want the product sold IMO.

The reward points being used was a good system for many reasons. First it gives you biggest spending customers access. I think that’s good for business. It also encourages people to buy directly from funko instead of chalice, EE, or vRare etc as you want to build points to buy the LE pops. And I can tell you I specifically have held off buying chase bundles from chalice (who has superior shipping) in order to buy directly from funko and build up points. This was also good for business.

Don’t like the change. It makes reward points pretty much meaningless.

They need to do something about the fake accounts. Having the first entry be free means a person could potentially have a hundred submissions if they felt like committing the time. I almost prefer the old ways

The definitely needed to have an account age threshold and purchase history requirements before allow folks to have time to create accounts right before two big LE drops and now to have basically all the ECCC pops be LE and no points needed for a free entry is disheartening. If anything no free entry and make it 100 -500 points for 1x entry minimum depending on the LE pop and up to 1k points for 2x on 750 and lower pops! Idk something would be better than allowing folks to have no skin in the funko game to win.

100% correct. I understand trying to minimize bots but this isn’t the way. At least require all entries to be a certain amount of points and then return those points if you don’t win the lottery

These are my thoughts as well. I do not like using points for low probability drawings.
