You people are driving me bonkers with your non New Wave music! The struggle is real.

I know, I just couldn't help but mention it if we're talkin' great 80s music.

I F'ing love NKOTB. When I was like 3 I used to wear a leather jacket and dance in front of the TV when NKOTB was on. Fun fact the only concert I've ever been to was NKOTB when my mom took me.

Re: 80's New Wave Music Pops
I'm trying not to be bias because I was born in the late 80s, but I really didn't discover the 80s music until my adult life and it's my favourite music era of all time. 80s pop and rap are my absolute favourite.
Madonna, Michael Jackson, Men Without Hats, A-Ha, Run DMC, Rakim, Wham!, Billy Ocean, Bryan Adams, the list is endless.

Saw the Thompson Twins open up for Culture Club last year. It was amazing to think that TT was still performing. Boy George of course looks the same. He would be a interesting pop.

Both would be cool.
I still think they should get Adam Ant and Bowie done first.
There are sooooo many variations they could do with each.

An orange hair Danny Elfman would be awesome. I was lucky enough to see him do Dead Man's Party after the NIghtmare Before Christmas Live show in Hollywood in 2018.

Excluding groups, here are some of the new wave / post punk / goth singers that I want, in order
Robert Smith
Ian Curtis
Michael Hutchence
David Byrne (Big suit!)
Siouxsie Sioux
Adam Ant
John Lydon (P.I.L. Version)
Peter Murphy
Bernard Sumner
Dave Gahan
People who left much more of a mark on the musical landscape than Rivers Cuomo, who now has his own pop (and more power to you if you love Weezer, just saying...).
