Wonder if someone has ever pulled a god pack before :O

Worlok (a huge pack ripper) has hit a 3 Grail pack at least once

The thrill of opening the packs and sometimes seeing multiple redeemables always a nice rush when it does happen still a great feeling, but it definitely sucks when no pulls though

Yup, thats the thrill of the chase as they say. I am a ripper, the fomo will always kill me of not knowing whether or not I hit on a lucky pack. I've dealt with the disappointment of no pulls for so long that I am unphased by it now

Gonna be an upsetting day if I can’t even pull an epic

True law of averages eventually has to come in to play. Need some double grail packs

I don't think i've ever hit a double grail pack
I have hit a back to back grail in the AF1 standard packs, so thats the closest i've had

I have had some really rotten luck on the two recent drops that I ripped packs. But, I always just take into account that you are pretty much guaranteed nothing similar to opening any pack of cards (for lack of a better example). More often than not, it is better to simply buy what you like from any given drop instead of banking on getting lucky with packs, especially in regards to grails. The odds are really quite poor for pulling grails.

This is a tough 1, sometimes you have luck and sometimes you're like, I should have just bought the grail. I'm like 50/50 on my luck. I really enjoy gambling though, especially when I win. Not so much when I lose, .

One thing disregarded in this conversation is the value of the fun of gambling on the packs. I actually enjoy the thrill of the pack opening and chance of getting lucky. That has actual value for me. It's fun. I pay money for doing fun things everyday without expecting a financial ROI. This is no different.

It's the same feeling as pulling the lever on a slot machine haha that adrenaline that hits right before you open a pack is kinda wild

Oh I definitely still rip packs for that value of temporary adrenaline before the inevitable disappointment. The thrill of the gamble is what keeps it interesting in moderation of course. Like MJ said in Spiderman NWH, "If you expect disappointment, then you can never really be disappointed" and thats true with this packs

I would say 80% of the time i get some form of redeemable, So not too bad, Only Drops with Mythic packs have been out of reach form me to get on initial drop, I think i only purchased one or two legendaries on secondary, I felt honestly ashamed for buying instead of pulling! I prefer to buy the packs and rip but can understand someone wanting to buy what they really want instead of the packs. The only redeeming qualtiy of the packs is you can collect for the royalty and still get something out ripping the packs if no redemeemable is found.

I say it "tongue'n cheek" but your right, I like ripping the packs, however, the very few times i don't get any redemables is the one time i definitely feel cheated and have "buyers remorse" for sure

It's all about luck but getting them yourself is special. Like opening pokemon packs for getting those chase cards

There's a lot of truth to that... seems like outside of "grail" and mythic items, the legendaries seem to gravitate towards 30 bucks or less in most cases. Royalties seem to hover around 50 - 60 bucks in a lot of cases... Packs are the same price whether they are good or bad... Buying excessive amounts usually does not pay off when you bother to do the math. There are much better and less expensive ways to get that adrenaline rush like when you hit a redeemable...

Mileage will vary based upon the strength of the IP of course...
