Known hidden messages in pop boxes

Postby geekygent78 » Sat Jan 31, 2026 10:01 pm

Does anyone know of any other hidden messages in funko boxes. This is one of my favorite ones, if it's real. I don't have this, yet.

I've thought about the same thing but it would require me to open the protectors, check the boxes, put them back in the protector, then back on the shelf. 700 times!!! Maybe I'll start with small batches and work my way through my collection.

I vaguely recall sometimes I've found text that was in Chinese or something.

Oh that is very cool. I don't open my pops but I might have to open a few to see if they are in the older ones or just the new ones. :freddy3:

Yes some of the pops have messages on the inside flap somewhere. Not all, but some.

That's so cool...I never knew that! I'm too scared to check mine. Funko boxes are so freaking hard to open without creasing..

To open my box I use an old card from Gamestop. I've heard of people using a butter knife, because it has a long dull edge at the top of the blade. So it runs the width of the box to help apply pressure to the edge to get the corner to pop out. I use the card on one corner at a time until one pops, top or bottom. As long as I open it. Hope that helps.

Independence day #283 has a hidden message in the "alien" language they use. Funny enough you'll never see it unless you actually unglue the box since its on the side that's glued
