So I got my hands on a Heath Ledger Joker Wacky Wobbler Proto the other day
He doesn't talk when he wobbles (I wasn't expecting him to honestly) BUT on the bottom of his base there's a slot where a battery usually goes
Would it work if I got a battery and put it in?! Do the Protos come with the working parts for the audio capabilities?!

Re: Talking Wobbler Proto Question
I also have this proto, and several other "talking protos". I looked at the bottom and tried to remove the battery compartment door. It does not have the screw that the production wobblers have. I couldn't open it without forcing it, so I stopped. Shining a bright light through the slot I could see no metal parts. Also, the slot you see is where they insert a clear plastic tab to prevent the battery from contacting the mechanism during shipping and storage thereby preventing the draining of the battery. (I keep them in all the time)
I've never opened up any of the battery compartment. None of my talking wobbler protos are talking to me. Not sure why. No guts, or just no battery. My guess is both.

Thanks for heads up brotha! I was curious because I didn't know he was a talking wobbler until I saw the bottom of the base, I can't wait for the production piece! Thanks again Craig!

The batteries have to be replaced on the regular talking wobblers.
