I was wondering where mine was. I then re-read the statement and I think we get it a year from now.

"You are officially a member of the Marvel collectible elite! On the anniversary of the first box shipment, you will receive an exclusive 8” Founders statue as a reward of your subscription status."

Am I the only one that sincerely hopes that that Cap statue that they show is just a mock up and not the actual statue?

And the founders statue is epic!!! And you get one per year if you sign up as a founder.

The mock up didn't look "epic" so I signed up thinking it would be different. I hope it stays pop esque, but I could see them going the wobbler route. Only time will tell.

I didn't realize that the founders statue might look different as to what was shown. That statue didn't really sell it for me... can we still sign up for founders?

When I looked at it I assumed that it was just a place holder. It is just so plain and boring compared to most Funko stuff. Plus, if you look at the graphic, there's the gold one for the first year, then in the background, it shows silhouettes of a couple more of the same statue for follow on years. I figured they wouldn't just use the same statue every year, so it had to just be a filler graphic.

I'm sure whatever they come up with will look great. I'm fine if it's the same one they've been showing or something else completely. I just hope it's an actual trophy and has some nice weight to it...not just a hunk of plastic.

I think they said what you get is up for debate currently. That Captain America Oscar isn't definite

I sincerely hope the statue as seen is NOT what we get. It looks like a whack $10 souvenir one would pick up in Hollywood.
Even if they said that is what we'll get, if enough people raise a stink they might reconsider.

All I am reading from that e-mail is that the statue will be of Captain America, but she never states it will look like the one pictured.

That's what I saw, so I didn't go with the Founders. The Cap'n statue doesn't appeal to me. At all!

Hm, this is interesting then. I guess we will find out next year, I signed up for the founders program but honestly wasn't too impressed with the statue so I wouldn't be opposed at all if they did change it.
