Freddy Funko X-Wing Pilot

This has been bugging me ever since I heard varying 'hey there is an X-Wing Pilot Freddy to 'hey there is a Freddy Poe Dameron'

Does anyone have an X-Wing Pilot Freddy that has black hair? To me that is basically the only way he is Poe.

I have only seen pictures of the LE 200 and they all have red hair.

I'm pretty sure there isn't a Freddy with black hair, but that would make sense to call him Poe if it was. I think the Freddy is just an X-Wing pilot, but it's easier for people to call him Poe since he was in the same outfit.

I am more of an old school Star Wars fan, so when I opened my box and saw him, I immediately thought of this figure:

So I call him X-wing Freddy.

I only watched the new Star Wars movies once. So I don't see him as Poe. But there is a good case for it.

He probably is Poe Freddy. Since he has the Rebel Alliance crest on his flight suit. But I will always refer to him as X-Wing Freddy.

I believe it is clearly Poe Dameron, regardless of the hair color.

I have to agree with alf_ie. It's like SDCC Jedi Conan. It looks like Obi-Wan but it's just labeled Jedi-Conan. Although Obi-Wan Conan rolls off the tongue in a fun way! HA!!!

Actually, the Jedi conan actually did say obi-wan conan on the cases. I too thought it was just a generic Jedi until I saw the case

The Freddy is 100% Poe. Look at his jumpsuit and the color of the tubing. It has the Rebel Alliance symbol and the tubing is gray. It's not Luke or Snap.

But....The box does say this, so draw your own conclusions.

Can you see any differences between the bodies? Or is it basically an official head swap?

I was fortunate enough that the moment Fundays ended a lady offered me this in exchange for my Fatman Pop. Was glad to make the trade. Doubt I'll ever be able to get Clone Trooper Freddy or Freddy Fett, but at least I have "Poe" and Kylo Ren Freddy. And that to me, as a mega Star Wars nerd, is still a huge win!

The Kylo Ren Freddy from last year also has red hair and not black.

That's an awesome get. I tried for a couple hours to track down a Freddy Poe but only found 2 people with it and couldn't work a trade with either one. I was offering Freddy Doctor Strange and Conan White Walker but no bites. Most people laughed at my attempt because Poe was limited to 200, but it all depends on what people want, etc. I was able to trade for Freddy V, one of my ultimate grails, so I'm happy with the end result.

Reis (the designer) answered me on Twitter as well, and said 'Ummm, my intention was that he was just Freddy as an X-Wing pilot. Not necessarily Poe.'

Mind you my hope in all of this is that we actually -do- get a black haired Freddy Funko X-Wing Pilot that is meant to be Poe sometime.

Excellent information! I have all the other X-Wing pilots (except Biggs

) so I had to have this one. As long as he's a pilot I'm super happy.

Same here. I offered cash, multiple Freddys, and a combination of Freddys and cash and still couldn't get one. I had a Star Wars shirt on and one person who refused to trade didn't even like Star Wars, but would only trade for something as "limited" so it had to be "200 or less" ](*,)

Jealous of the person who got X-wing Pilot Freddy for Fatman, would have done that in an instant!

After that, I had some trade troubles. Was trying to get the Freddy Scott Pilgrim, but couldn't work out a deal.

If you look at this years freddies as a whole, each one points to a specific character (each rangers and the different supermen). X-wing pilot is a bit generic to me, and Freddy Poe Dameron gives it more character imo.

I guess all the evidence points to him being X-wing Freddy though.

I was super bummed when my buddy pulled his X wing pilot out and I saw it was a LE 200. I was like there is no way I'm getting one too. But almost passed out when I pulled him out. We are both huge star wars fans and were on cloud 9 when we scored him.

We also got Fatman and he got the Marvin the Martian SDCC exclusive proto and I got his dog K9. We were so pumped at Fundays.

Fortunately I had something she wanted and she traded me. I love that Poe or X-wing pilot Freddy so much. He's never leaving my collection.

Thanks for the photos, love the lineup comparison. Interesting that X-wing freddy's body is bigger than Poe's, but the head is smaller.
