I think after all those typically American (and Canadian) sport Pops (NBA, FNL, NHL and WWE [to a degree]), it's time Funko payed attention to sports that are more popular outside of Northern America.
And soccer (or football, as we Europeans still call it ;-)

) is a great way to start. Messi and Ronaldo are very obvious choices for a first wave, but I would love to see national teams, or perhaps a wave that consists of one talented player for each country. Transfers are very common, so featuring a player in their club jersey when they don't play there anymore by the time the Pop comes out, would be weird, imho.

i would love this if it wasn't MLS. I'd rather see Premier League, La Liga and Serie A players - maybe even a FIFA one, to allow for global players?

I've made customs of Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in their international kits for Argentina and Portugal respectively. The Messi was one of my first customs I made a few years ago but the Ronaldo I only made just recently. Our best chance of getting a series of pops would be if they made them for next year's World Cup.

I would love to see an Eden Hazard Pop, but no doubt there would be some Stamford Bridge exclusive version I would need to spend $$$ for. Totally worth it, though.

Been asking for these also for a while now! Would love to see some of the Louisville City FC players. They are currently in the USL but are getting a new stadium and a bid to be in the MLS.
Would like to see some of the classics to start, like Pele, Maradona, ect.

I agree with u just like king Felix, sound of boom seattle Seahawks, makes sense to make soundrrs first as a giveaway then again global icons like messi would bring a global eye on funko

I'm so happy football/soccer pops are going to be made. Surely it would be easier to start off with club legends rather than current players that could leave? I noticed there are no Arsenal pops. Being an Arsenal fan, it's prob a wise decision as our best players Funko prob intended to make for us probably won't even be at the club when these are released lol

Man U pops may or may not be in our future... LOL. Kinda wish there was another pose for them (outside the one goal keeper), although I think most sports Pops are monopose.

Wow! Those soccer Pops! look really cool! This was something that I wasn't expecting. Now I have to figure how and were I'm going to incorporate these into the collection. I don't even follow the sport that much, but feel I'm definitely going to have to add these because of how they look. Think I'll create a sports section in my study room

The wife's family is from Manchester, so they naturally are Man U fans... IDK if she keeps up with the current players though haha.
