Ugh another Hot Topic exclusive has been announced. There will be a new Black and White Loki. It's new in the sense of it being a variant as it is #36, but it is not a new mold.

They give us a metallic winged monkey but not a flocked one..really
then there's the worst ones, bloody scarface in a white variant suit, disappearing Marty mcfly, a bloody 300 pop , and a metallic Iron man exclusive. I mean come on Funko when does it stop.

It seems that funko is making better exclusives now though. All the new chases.. vampire spike/blue tobias/yellow eyes smaug and most of the 2014 sdcc were pretty good well except the venkman and slimer metallic 2 pack that should have been gid slime splatter with gid slimer.

I'm always down with Loki but, yes, I would LOVE to see a Loki with a staff. The knife made sense for a Dark World version but it no longer makes sense once Loki has his helmet back on.

I can't help but think Funko is being a little /too/ cost effective by rehashing this mold so many times.

But, hey, if it ultimately means more Lokis crowding my space.... it's all good.

When they did Peter Parker unmasked those ended up at Hot Topic afterwards and I believe with their sticker on fugitive toys, so if you cant go get GITD storm or maskless cap be patient. Afraid I was not so much last year and drastically overpaid.

I did notice they are releasing GotG villains? Not that I wont buy them (more than likely), but is there really that great a demand for these characters?

Definitely Thanos and maybe Ronan but otherwise I don't think so. Not to say they won't be cool and we need more villians as pops.

I think there is.

Yondu has actually become something of a fan favorite since the movie's release.
And honestly none of the "villian" characters (aside from Thanos ) have much merch of them already.

Oh, new Dancing Groot is available for Pre-Order on Popcultcha. ETA is January 2015. Normal Dancing Groot has ETA of November 2014.

Interesting, I hadn't heard of that Groot. It seems the only difference is that the Iam Groot Edition has writing on the pot while the other doesn't. Added to the front.

Im with ya 100% on that, Marvel needs more villains in a bad way. Never expected them to start fixing that with GotG villains though.
