I saw some guy buy five Smaugs at the valley fair one yesterday. was barely able to get one before he snagged it. only left one with a slightly damaged box. ridiculous. also FYI that the oakridge mall had unmasked cap but in the back. wouldnt have known unless the employee mentioned it. maybe worth calling if you are looking for it.

Crazy! I was at VF yesterday, but too early I guess. I wish they would limit the amount per person. *shrugs*

Today I was talking to the guy that works at HT, not the normal HT I go to, A guy comes in everyday and buys all the exclusives that may be worth something, He Bought all 6 of the Captain America Comikaze, And 4 Smaugs..... I said to the guy, is that even allowed? I thought there was a limit to exclusives, he said he does not really care about it...

Grabbed a Smaug yesterday and I am in love Definitely a beautiful, well made, and detailed piece. Grabbed one for me and one for the boyfriend. The cashier said, "These are really rare, you're lucky because we don't have anymore."

I told the boyfriend the Captain America's were available too. We weren't really interested in those but he dropped by to take a look. He saw about 3 more Smaugs on the shelf. Guess the cashier got the count wrong and they had a few left in the back . Dropped by today to take a look and both Smaug and Captain America's were gone

I called around last night and no Caps anywhere. I've been calling about the exclusive Batman with no luck as well.

Argh. Today i Found a few blue batmans, eren titans and colossals. Did not pick any up though.

Side note: The site security is too high . I posted three times but since I switched from 3g, to lte to wifi it keeps logging me out.

I must have missed him simply by a shipment being unboxed because any day that I can't check I've called. I need Smaug!

Is this a store-by-store policy? I've heard plenty of people talking about getting calls from their HT.

mine called me, but I've become friendly with the manager due to him seeing me there so often, so it could've just been a personal thing and not a store thing...

My store calls me when stuff comes in if I ask them to place me on the call list for specific items.

Could it be that your store has too many people requesting calls and the employees can't keep up with it, so they just don't do it anymore?

What I've heard is its a company wide policy, but enforced by the store employees. I also have gotten in good with the manager and the two regular employees . It's the seasonal help that's really going to mess this up , I'm sure. I'm in the store 3-5 times a week, and if they don't have customers, I spend some time getting to know them and vice versa. I'm sure that helps getting the calls before some others on the list, which looks like about 5-7 people when I saw it.

It's kinda weird/kinda not that the manager knows my entire name. The girls that work there they know my name. But hey they held a Smaug for me so whatever works.

Finally found an awesome HT in my new city! Hit the motherload there. They had pretty much every exclusive and their stock was amazing. They're just not organized at all. It took me, my fiancee, and our friend to take every Pop out, one by one, and sift through every row because they were so disorganized. We were mostly in search for a chase Spike, which we didn't find, but I was able to get my hands on Bizarro and Cheshire Cat so it made up for it.

I've left my number at stores but they never call me. Either the person that writes down my number doesn't work the day they get new shipments or they just forget or don't care. I stopped relying on that. They've also told me to follow them on Instagram. Only one store (not one of my regular stores) posts on Instagram. I've just asked around the 4 stores I usually go to and asked what time they get shipments in. I just give them a call around those times. Some get shipments in at 11:00 some get them in at 2:00. It's a big pain but I've been successful in hunting down figures and putting them on hold most of the time.

New york.people, Hot topic in hicksville has smaug, heading there now, I also called sunrise.mall in Massapequa and they have it in stock.

Edit: holding it in my hands, along with earth 2 batman. Hopefully these aren't snatched up too quickly by flippers

My HT store has a cool employee who took it upon herself and created a call list for people looking for items, mainly funko pops. She knows me by name now since October when she called me to tell me I had an item in, and I was crying because I was just laid off. Lol, still am but I guess it's funny now.

Pretty bare on exclusives when I walked I today. I was just looking for Cap but all the rows were too organized so I wasn't holding my breath. As soon as I told the employee what I was looking for, I spotted him about halfway to the top! It's like he just appeared when I summoned him or something haha
