NYCC Exclusives To Be Available at Other Stores

My HT has a limit of 3 TOTAL exclusives, not 3 of each but 3 total. WTH?? I bought 2 thrones and a Jack, now heading to another to get Cthulu. Geesh! He also told me as soon as I walked in that BOGO did not apply to exclusives on the first day they're out. I was able to use the 10 off 30 coupon though.

By the way, the throne is spectacular!!

B&N coupon wouldn't combine with my order....

Barnes and Noble coupons don't typically work on Con exclusives.

My store did a limit of 3 of each. I only bought one of each but it is odd that some stores interpret the limit differently.
Same with the discount. I was able to use the BOGO 50% off plus my military discount.

The Throne is a really cool piece! I don't collect GoT but I wanted the throne for my Joker POP to sit on

I went to my local Hot Topic store and got there like 10:01. The Iron Thrones were almost gone. Two people had grabbed 3 each. They had plenty of Jack with Vampire Teddy and a fair number of Patina Chthulu. I got 2 of the Throne because I wanted to try to customize it so the 1:6 scale dolls can sit in it. I was surprised that the buy one get 50% off worked on it.

Got my Throne today at HT and they only had 2 visible, got there maybe 5 minutes after they opened. The one I grabbed was still in a shipping box with a bunch of the Jack pops. I was offered the BOGO 50% off so I grabbed a regular pop. Very very happy I got one!

Apparently the email says no discount for the exclusives, but they automatically ring up BOGO and the associate is supposed to void the discount. Or so I was told.

Yeah, that is the SKU for Fear Kratos. It's on my old GS print out sitting right in front of me. I had this printed off months ago before we even knew about the NYCC Kratos. GS's website is probably wrong if it's showing that SKU with the NYCC exclusive.

So for my haul today:
BN: Was a bust. They had nothing in stock and they also did not have the Turtle Dorbz in the system at all. I was able to order at the store and pre-pay for a Flocked Cookie Monster for 20% off using the coupon plus my 10% membership discount; this is something you can't do through the online store.

HT: Got all three at the store with BOGO 50% and 15% off from the old rewards program. I saw a few people use $10 off $30 coupons for their purchases.

FYE: Had no NYCC exclusives but had some Entertainment Earth exclusives.

Gamestop: Had nothing and could not find out when they would get their shipment. I did get an Evolving Dalek Sec, which was nice.

In summary, other than HT exclusives, everything else was a huge bust.

I don't know. The manager at my GS runs the district and collects POP!s himself, so he's pretty knowledgeable. He told me this morning that none of the GameStops in his district got the NYCC POP!s, that they weren't in the system, and that he could not order them.

This is just what he told me. All I can confirm is that is DEFINITELY the SKU for Fear Kratos.

Yeah I think that particular clerk just misunderstood the policy. I did ask him if he was sure that is was 3 TOTAL and not 3 of EACH TYPE and he said he was sure. But then I drove 15 minutes to another HT and they had a sign up saying they had a limit of 3 EACH TYPE. That makes more sense as that was the policy with SDCC too. The first clerk told me as I was walking in that the BOGO 50% did not include exclusives on the first day of release. Then the clerk in the second store told me as I walked in the door that it DID apply, and he did ring my purchase up like that. But this inconsistent application of store policy is pretty typical of HT. HT is probably sending out confusing descriptions to their employees on what the policies are.

Mine rang up buy 2 get 1 free, but yeah each store is different pretty much. like how some stores will have limits but others won't. The one here has a limit of 3 per Con exclusives per person.

I don't know if mine just didn't get many in but they only had I think 2 Cthulhu, 5 Jack/Teddy, and 2 Iron Thrones after I got mine. I also swung by GameStop but the lady told me they didn't get any in but if they would she'd hold one for me. She seemed like she knew what I was talking about but it seems like GameStop might not be getting them so who knows. It wasn't a top priority for me, I was just going to get one just in case :p

Grabbed a throne on my lunch break. Was tempted to get Cthulu and my wife decided she didn't want Jack, so I didn't get anything else. The woman did say I could get a second POp for half price, so that applied at my store as well, but I didn't want to spend more money, especially since I'm hoping to get Kratos...maybe.

The guy at Game Stop was one of those "too cool" guys who clearly thinks he's better than everyone else, and when I asked about the NYCC Pops, he didn't have a clue what I was talking about, and didn't seem to care, so I just walked out. I'm nervous Kratos isn't going to show up anywhere near me now, so I guess it's good I saved a couple bucks. Ha.
