Annual Marvel Collector Corps Collectible?
Does anybody have any idea what the annual collectible gift could be? I'm really curious on what it could be. I'm assuming that it will be included in the Deadpool Box. I hope its something nice!

I thought the original sign-ups showed a gold vinyl Captain America like an Oscar statue....or was that just for show?

I thought it was when your membership renews then you get it so after the 6th box before the 7th box.

I've bought every MCC but I didn't sign up for the yearly membership. I just didn't have the funds at the time. I regret it now but if its something I truly cant live without/want really bad im sure I can pick it up on Ebay.

I remember them stating that the picture of the Captain America Oscar was just a place holder.

Why would it be in the Deadpool box? It's to celebrate the anniversary of the box, which would mean it should be in April's (100% likely) Civil War box.

The founders should absolutely be getting both, seeing as we jumped into a subscription without knowing what would be coming. Someone on Twitter said we wouldn't though, which would be ridiculous

I signed up the very first day the MCC site went up as a Founder..and to me, there should be an extra special founders Funko item! Give those Founders something to be extremely proud of Funko..namely a POP! I would accept a gold Captain America Funko POP..that would be the best!!!

Why would it be in the Deadpool Box? Maybe because the Deadpool box would be the last box for the people that paid the founders membership. Which is six boxes. Why would Collector Corps put the item in the April box when that would be the start of a new subscription? Just makes sense to me. It would be sweet if its an exclusive funko pop but I wouldn't count on it. I just hope it's something that we would all like.

Sounds like it'll be a separate shipment from our bi-monthly boxes to correlate with whenever your 1 year anniversary is.

Seems like more work to 1) keep track of two sets of Deadpool boxes for founders and non-founders and 2) size a box to accommodate an item that most subscribers won't be getting. It'd be simpler to send out the founders' items separately.

Whatever it is, I'm confident no one will complain since it's a 100% free piece and a bonus for signing up for a yearly instead of monthly subscription. How could you complain about free, right? RIGHT?!?

Re: Annual Marvel Collector Corps Collectible?
At this stage, they would need more than a free ugly piece of plastic to get me to resubscribe for another year. A discount for the month that broke the guarantee would be a start. A further discount for the month they forgot to ship me my box (until I raised a Paypal dispute and had to deal with support for 8 weeks before they actually shipped it) would help. Even then, it might just take an over the top amazing Deadpool box in Feb to not burn me entirely.
I love Marvel. I love collecting Pops. But MCC has a LONG way to go to get this right. There's always Ebay to stave off FOMO

Like love, people will find a way. Actually, it will probably be retro-active complaining.

I hope that was just for show. I was assuming it was when I signed up.
I remember them stating that the picture of the Captain America Oscar was just a place holder.
Actually, it was the opposite. They stated the Captain America Bowling Trophy was exactly what you would get. This has came up a few times, and I keep reminding people that they already stated it was that ugly gold statue you Founders would get.
I think I have the picture from the announcement still saved somewhere ...

Re: Annual Marvel Collector Corps Collectible?
Ugh. I came here looking for any indication that we would be getting something other than that "Oscar". Now the question is, is there a chance that next year's gift will be something completely different, or will it likely be another award statue? I'm seriously debating whether or not I should cancel my sub and just buy individual boxes, because had it not been for the promise if a founder's gift, I certainly wouldn't have bought all six. Hmmm...

I think the statue would be awesome, pretty unique piece of Funko plus it's marvel! It's a free bonus piece!

I think many "Founders" have set their expectations extremely high for the 'thank you' gift, and no matter what it is, some folks will implode.

Re: Annual Marvel Collector Corps Collectible?
I want a Pop! The statue isn't terrible, it's just not enough to convince me to buy 6 more boxes without even knowing the themes. I totally would have passed on the Deadpool and Guardians (I ended loving this box, but I wouldn't have ordered it based on theme alone) boxes if it wasn't for the founders program. Signing up for it was a pretty big commitment, I think the gift should better reflect that.

They could give us the 2 story Hulkbuster they have at the conventions and people would complain about how they don't have space to put it. Name of the game I suppose.
