Wobbler Cases / Box Protectors
I have one Wobbler that I want to stick in a case/protector, but haven't seen any cases for sale anywhere. Maybe I am not looking in the right place. It is not the standard size Wobbler box, but the bigger Funatic Collector Series box.

Re: Wobbler Cases / Box Protectors
There really isn't anything out there in the slightly larger size. Ages ago, acrylic cases were being produced that fit standard sized Wobbler boxes perfectly but that company went under and these are only available on the secondary market. I've inquired with a number of custom case makers about bulk purchases but the price point is always too high.

I checked around and i didn't see anything offical...but.... after looking at this ebay listing [ http://www.ebay.com/itm/Funko-Wacky-Wob ... 1973752925 ]

Hmm. And the bigger Wobbler boxes are kind of oddball sized. I think to get the correct size, it would need to be custom made then.

Curious, what are the dimensions of this type of wobbler?

The box is ROUGHLY 3.75" wide, 3.5" deep and 7.5" tall. The height is actually a tad over 7.5"

If you are looking for a hard case ...
Here is an acrylic case that is 3.75 x 3.5 x 8
http://www.collectingwarehouse.com/Prod ... ure_7.html
If you dont like the bevels, there is another that is a little wider - 3.81 x 3.87 x 7.87

I've ordered from that eBay seller before and gotten one of those cases that are in fact hard acryllic. The problem is unfortunately, that the lids will not fit fully onto the case with the larger Wobbler boxes. Great case, but there is a reason the boxes aren't fully encased in the pictures.

So the ones from Collectingwarehouse.com will not fit the large wobbler box?

Thats really weird. I click it and its fine for me...
Try searching for these items on their site.
Clear Acrylic Display Case for 5"-7" Doll/Figure (no bevel) - 3 13/16" x 3 7/8" x 7 7/8" ( For 1 Case its $3.60 )
I have ordered from these guys before and they are really nice and provide good service. If you are able to access their site, maybe send them an email to confirm the interior will fit your wobbler.

I'm reasonably confident these are the same ones I've purchased a few years ago. The bigger wobbler boxes fit pretty well, and but there's a little bit of extra room.

The dimensions are a little bigger than the box, but if they work then it might be worth buying and seeing. AL had some that he said works perfect for the bigger boxes that I was thinking of getting off of him. I wonder if they are the same as these?

Re: Wobbler Cases / Box Protectors
Just checked their website and YES, the one listed is the regular and Collector Series sizes....however, they are only going to be the thin foldable ones like the "regular" POP protectors. Not hard acrylic cases.

That's cool, could definitely use some of those... too many old wobbler chases in an old box in my collection.

Re: Wobbler Cases / Box Protectors
Looked at these today and I actually think the 'Small' one are for the original Star wars, marvel size and the large ones are for the bigger TFA boxes and similar newer wobblers. No small 3x3 size as far as I can tell, but I'll compare the measurements to what I have when I'm home again

Think those are for the regular freddy wobbler boxes (small) and the bigger (new) protectors are like Deadpool, Clockwork Orange Alex, Big Boy Freddy size. I have a very big bundle of the smaller sized ones, but I wonder if the bottom inter-locking system is the same on Retro's on their site

Well there are like 3 different sizes for the wobblers... like Jordan said, Marvel/SW is bigger than those Freddys collectors series boxes... and the newer wobblers like Deadpool, Ant-man, TFA are even bigger... I could use the medium and large protectors if they have those sizes...

I bought 10 hard cases off of Al that fit the big sized boxes...like the Collector Series ones. I have a handful left that I haven't used yet, as I only needed to put a few in cases. If you need any, let me know.

Just to clarify, there are 3 sizes!? I will have to check out my Deadpools/Clockwork Alex compared to the Big Boy Freddy/ McFreddy because I thought those were all the same

I think so, because I have some spare collector's boxes from freddys, that didn't fit my freddy hulk wobbler... and then the Ant-man boxes are bigger than my older marvel boxes... I'll try and find them all and get a pic together.

Re: Wobbler Cases / Box Protectors
So, I took some quick measurements, and it looks like the 2 boxes they have are to fit the older SW/Transformers/GI Joe, etc wobbler boxes (~3.5" x 3.5" x 7.5") and the newer TFA/Marvel, etc boxes (~3.75" x 3.75" x 8"). They don't look to have anything for the "original" wobblers boxes, which I think were about 3" x 3" and included things like the original cereal monster wobblers, original Freddy's, etc.

Sounds about right! I knew there were 3 different box sizes... Might need to buy some of these for my old chase boxes.

Re: Wobbler Cases / Box Protectors
CLARIFICATION ON WOBBLER SIZES
There are actually 3 different Wobbler sizes, excluding Mini-Wobbler's which would ultimately make 4 total sizes. See references below...
The original, smaller wobbler boxes, such as FunKlub Freddy, Bone Daddy, El Diablo, Big Boy...
...these are 7 5/8" x 3" x 3" and are just right for the ORIGINAL-SMALL SIZE PROTECTORS (7 5/8" x 3 1/2" x 3 1/2")
The medium, larger wobbler boxes, such as Big Boy Freddy, Clone Trooper Freddy, Classic DC Superman & Batman, Transformers, GI Joe...
...these are 7 5/8" x 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" and are the exact size as the ORIGINAL-SMALL SIZE PROTECTORS (7 5/8" x 3 1/2" x 3 1/2"), which may NOT be able to fit this size wobbler
The large, new wobbler boxes, such as the new Deadpool, Marvel, Star Wars TFA...
...these are 8 1/8" x 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" and are just right for the NEW-LARGER SIZE PROTECTORS (8 3/16" x 3 3/4" x 3 3/4")
I will be further be inspecting this to provide 100% clarification...stay tuned Funatics
