I'm with you I received my sepia capt today it was shipped in a partially opened box and when I opened it this is what I got :evil:

.I called Amazon about it they refunded my money and let me keep it. Not an OOB collector but this one will be displayed out of the box

Amazon has fantastic customer service when things do go wrong in shipment. Problem is that they do not seem to share the same values as us collectors. Normally a damaged box isn't a problem as it is just packaging. In this case it's actually a part of the product. Glad you were refunded. Wish they could have packed it well in the first place however.

It might not have been Amazon. It's not like they box the pops themselves. There's a whole manufacturing and shipping overseas process to go through as well. Amazon has had more than their fair share of exclusives, and their shipping is great normally. I've received Unmasked Iron Mans and Yellow Deadpools without any problems with packaging.

Sounds like everybody had problems with their Amazon Captain

The top of my box was slightly damaged, but I'm OOB collector so it doesn't bother me too much. Nice to hear that people were able to get a refund for the really bad boxes.

Yea I'm sure they've been getting calls regarding this issue, whoever runs their warehouse really messed up with this one

I myself have also received those pops and they were packaged well but for whatever reason it wasn't the case this time.

I agree and yes Amazon does have great customer service they actually suggested I keep it and offered me the refund.

Know it's off topic, but I do greater than 90% of my shopping with Amazon now that Prime now is available. You can get basically everything delivered straight to your door in a matter of hours. The convenience is just amazing. Definitely didn't want to make it seem like I was bashing an otherwise fantastic company, but I have had a shipping related issue every so often.

Back on topic now. I need to find the Kohl's captain America at some point hopefully soon.

I ordered 2 Amazon Captain Americas (disappointed they didn't have stickers, yes I like stickers). The boxes had small rips, dents, and creases. I probably should have called to see if they let me keep them, but I chose the online option for replacements. It says mid-September on replacement date. I may just order it from PC, since the boxes almost always come great.

Collectors Corp has released a YEAR ONE box. You can order this box for $125 through their site if you are a Founding Member.

Some, like me, who aren't founding members were able to order it.

Box ships in 2 weeks.

In general if the items haven't been announced I wouldn't post. We all are excited and anxious about new stuff, but mostly there is reasons why stuff hasn't been officially announced yet.

I have no idea. I have since seen the Gamestop list and it matched so obviously it came from it. But at the time, I had no idea and it didn't say otherwise.

So nothing was "made up" - just didn't have all the info.

In other news, I think we can confirm Gamestop will have Cowboy Deadpool from SDCC on 7/21

I haven't seen where Goblin or Strange are going yet though. Hopefully we'll know soon.

EDIT:

Gamestop will also have Dr Strange w/Rune on 7/21 from SDCC

For those who didn't know if you can get yourself to an EB Games they have already started selling Cowboy Deadpool. If you ebay him you'll see lots of listings.

I wonder if these eBayers are GS employees...I went in on Monday and was told these aren't even in the system yet so I couldn't preorder/reserve one.

edit: did an eBay search by location, and it looks like most, if not all of these are in Canada
