NYCC 2016 POP discussion thread

Congrats to everyone who will be getting in and a chance to buy stuff directly at the con!

I myself, hope to be able to get Kitty, Storm and Behemoth in stores, with big maybes for Juggernaut, Sally and whatever else jumps out at me. I'd LOVE to get the gitd Wolfman, but unless someone super nice grabs one for me, I'll never get him as I won't pay flippers. Not the end of the world, if I get Kitty and Storm I'll be happy.

yeah the stores are my only option really, and their websites since FYE and Box Lunch are not close enough I pretty much gave up on Scott Pilgrim, at 1000 each they'll never be an option.

Does anybody know anything about stores yet? Seeing as how the shared exclusives won't be announced until the 6th, that makes me wonder if they'll be on sale the same day online and just not in stores or if they'll go on sale in stores on the 7th. People need to know these things ahead of time to plan their route

There is a "leaked" list of places if you head on over to Reddit. I don't know how accurate it is, but they've got quite a bit of stuff listed.

That just says where, not when though. Barnes & Noble is on the list but they don't have an event planned like with SDCC, that's why I wonder if they'll even be sold in stores or if it's just online... and if they are in stores, what day will it be? I don't think B&N had an event for NYCC last year either, but they did have the exclusives in store and online. Most of the stores that had shared NYCC exclusives last year posted them online early morning (midnight or so) on the first day of the con. My memory isn't that great on this stuff but I think that was how we figured out which stores had what, by staying up and watching their sites and posting about it here. The rumor lists were quite accurate last year though.

Nope. No official word or anything. I think that chart is based solely on rumours and what not. Won't know for sure til the 6th.

Gamestop looks like the clear winner for me. Bummed that fye is getting so much since there's not really a convenient one for me. If I want anything from there, I'll probably have to take a half day off unless I can snag it online.

There are still a couple I wanted to pick up that aren't listed (Shane and white lantern batman) so I'll be interested to see where those land, if anywhere.

Indy's ride will only be available on Disney parks online shop... Won't be at theme parks or downtown Disney. Only online ! I can't wait. Hopefully we get lucky

I only NEED two Pops...I just don't know if I can swing them this week, a non pay week. If I can get Kitty I'll be happy, and then maybe Behemoth for the wife. Would have loved Mohawk Storm too, but doesn't look like it's going to happen.
