You guys!!!
I'd love to go back to being OOB, but as someone who hates having dusty surfaces anywhere in my room, it'll be a pain to maintain every day. That's why I switched to in-box. Maybe one day.

Re: Your display, the Funko way!
There are so many characters/variants that are only readily available in Dorbz. It really make me want to add to my collection (I only have about 9-10 Dorbz and I really want to stick to Pop collecting). Seeing Dorbz displayed in this thread is really tempting though!

FYI ... If anyone is interested ... a Pop thread is currently up for Popstacks (50% off) at $5.25 each through Hot Topic. There is a Code listed and I tried it and it worked.

Thinking of upgrading to Detolf shelves later this Spring, but I really don't know where in my house I would put them. Fiance loves the shelves we have too much to get rid of them now (he doesn't love that they have morphed into Pop displays though ). Anyway this is my current set up after selling about a third of my collection (and buying about half of that number more since... shh...). Spoilers for size issues.

Re: Your display, the Funko way!
Very nice collection!!! I left the bases from a lot of the early releases in the boxes and those are store under my house (which is now buried in snow) but I think I might want to get them out. They look nice!

Re: Your display, the Funko way!
All these displays bring me back to my big question: when I unbox all of my Star Wars pops to display them, do I unbox the more expensive ones? I kind of want to because they're cute, but I don't know. Any thoughts? Has anyone unboxed grail pops? Or does anyone have examples of displays with mixed unboxed pops and boxed pops?

I've unboxed everything I own, but I still take care in doing so in case I want to sell and trade in the future. I'd recommend using a butter knife to open the bottom flap that way you don't make any creases.

Honestly, I don't plan on ever selling! And actually some of the pricier, more rare pops I have (especially older ones) I have purchased in less than pristine boxes because the pop is what matters to me. But somehow I just have a hard time imagining taking Boushh Leia or Qui Gon out of their boxes! I think that just might be my dumb hangup.
