Red Saucer-Men Wobbler?
Red Saucer-Men Wobbler?
Hi everyone! I'm new here. But what I really wanna say is that I came across this guy at my local comic shop.
It has the "chase item" sticker on its box and I can't find it anywhere online. I'm just wondering if he's super rare since the usual Saucer-Men are green and the SDCC ones are shiny. Sorry for the bad photo btw. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That is the chase piece to the original Saucer Men wobbler. The regular is green. Tough chase piece to find. Always a lot more fun to get one in the wild IMO. Congrats.

I believe that this is one of the harder chase pieces to find.

Sorry, I was recently told not to use the "E" word or mention selling on it. I am a newbie after all. But for now I am going to keep Mr. Red Saucer Man and next time I get something I want to sell I will come to the FunkoFanatics first!

Re: Red Saucer-Men Wobbler?
your post:
we read between the lines sometimes, what we see is...... I joined to find out how rare this is so I can turn around and get as much as I can from a true collector who really wants this.
we just try to look out for each other that's all. it's yours do as you wish, try to sell it here or on the bay, just know that if your sole purpose to come on here is to see how much you can get for items that you find you'll get no love from a lot of the funatics.
with that being said welcome aboard.....visit and post often you might find out that you like it here and become a true funatic yourself

I'm sorry to make you think I was one of those people who just wanted to sell it. I really dig the stuff Funko has to offer, the old vintage vinyl style of toys, its so great! And they make a lot of characters I really like! So thank you for the welcome and the advice, I promise to not be too much of a newb .
Also super rare items are only cool if you have them in your collection :]

I think a better introduction would have been..." My name's Bigmama. Don't F*Ck with me, I"LL F*CKING CUT YOU!!"
Seriously though, great find on the chase piece. Kinda makes me wish I'd get some motivation and go out to look for some.
P.s. The school's swimming pool is on the 4th floor of the old building

Re: Red Saucer-Men Wobbler?
Does anyone know the production #'s for the chase piece by chance? I know the SDCC's are limited to 240. I am in negotiating to pick one up but the seller is stating this is more rare than the SDCC metallic's.

There was one per case I think. It was always hard to guess at the number of chase pieces back in the wobbler days. I was digging through my stuff and found this chase loose the metallic loose and the proto for this wobbler. I had put it in a box and it got lost in the garage. Funny how things work out.haastyle wrote:Does anyone know the production #'s for the chase piece by chance? I know the SDCC's are limited to 240. A case was 36 if I recall correctly so that would mean that 8,640 of the regular pieces would have to be produced for a count of 240 chase pieces to be produced. I wonder if more or less were produced. Nice I wish I had that problem, would love to see some pics of your Saucer-Man Wobbler collection once dusted off! I just picked up the green SDCC metallic, have a feeling it will be a while before any others come available.

There is also a blue metallic piece 1/24 and a red metallic piece 1/24 which were given out at Fundays the same year the green metallic CC piece was for sale.
