I kinda don't like that Rarity isn't as clear as the others. I was hoping for hers to be more like Vinyl Scratch's glitter variant, so I ended up not liking her as much.

Spitfire's black body variant would've been so much better if her wings were yellow like the mystery mini and the box art! Hers is still awesome, though. Still one of my favorite figures overall.

Also, fingers crossed, I'm finally bidding on a glitter Daring Do.

Bumping this up. Crystals could start showing up this week on the west coast. We need west coast helpers to pick up ponies that are found.

IF YOU LIVE IN THE CST OR PST TIME ZONES AND ARE WILLING TO PICK UP PONIES FOR OTHER FUNATICS (not keep them for yourself), I WILL CALL THE STORES AROUND YOU AND FIND THE PONIES. You will just have to pick them up at the store. Let me know which stores are around you and I will do the calling work.

Thanks to everyone who has helped in the past and will help in the future. Let's get some of these west coast ponies.

I checked the HT near by and no crystals. They said they didn't receive any in this shipment but to check back because they keep getting new inventory. I'll keep checking

I'm going camping this weekend up in northern PA and I realized that we'll be passing by a few Hot Topics that are normally too far from where I live in western PA to get to. I definitely plan on getting making a few stops on our way back home on Sunday, so I can check for glitters.

Oddly enough, one of the HT's nearest me has Rarity and Discord figures, but no Daring Do. Anyone else run into this issue at their local HT?

Mine only had Rarity and Discord as well. They told me they didn't receive the Daring Do shipment. Sadly, no glitters at my HT as well.

Finally got around to calling Hot Topic about the damaged Rarity, they're sending me a new one and not even having me send the damaged one back. Fingers crossed for a glitter. XD

Right?? I've only ever seen Rarity and Discord in store. Neither were crystals. I had to order AJ and Big Mac online. BLAH! Barnes and Noble has more vinyls than HT does, but they're all series 1

I hope HT gets more of them soon. The few sold crystal Rarity listings are around $100, yikes.

WHAAAAT?? If i come across a crystal, I'll buy it. But I don't collect them simply because of the cost. They look fabulous, though. I just want to see more of a selection at HT.

I have quite a few friends who haven't seen the figures at all in their HT's. There are still two or three here that don't have Daring Do for some reason, and I'm hoping they get her soon and I can snag a glitter so I'll be done with this wave. I'm not even trying on eBay anymore because the prices are extremely steep. I mean, I know they're the harder to find variants, but I've never paid over $45 for a glitter and I never will. Nope. I'm just glad I was able to find glitter Rarity in store because her eBay prices are just too much!

Could be because they are making more because Discord has been sold out for a long time, and the other two are about to be sold out on hottopic.com They have been here since about two days after the release date I believe.

Discord is the first to my knowledge to sell out during pre-order...which IMO is a good thing...a Discord chase came in my pre order so I got lucky...Rarity is a pony lots of people love to hate so her popularity does not surprise me..aside from a few Pop being released witha chase...glitter ponies are the only chases made on a regular bases. Look at the price of the Flash chase compared to a Batman Chase...only time will tell with these ponies

I was able to pick-up a chase RARITY today thanks to my local HT posting it on FB. This has been the only crystal chase found at my local HT since about last October. You can mark me off the list for "Rarity"and "Discord" my daughter stated she can do with out Discord in her collection. So 4 more to go to be caught up. Thank you for your help!!!!!

Congrats on finding the Pony. Lion O. The people at the HT is telling me people have been calling them constantly and they are telling everyone they have not received their shipment yet. This was last Thursday.
